I have told people before that the national do not call list is a bunch of shitttt; All it does is give these scammers more numbers to call...

Got a call from 620-000-1235 before 9 AM.  Recorded female voice first said that she was calling from the "Rape Crisis Center."  I guess that was to keep me from hanging up.  Then she said my credit card rates had gone up and I was eligible to lower them.  That was when I hung up and reported the call to the do-not-call hotline at 1-800-382-1222.  620-000-1235 is a fake number so i guess the best way to handle these calls is to not answer any call from the 620 area code.

Got this call today.  Didn't answer.  Other similar non recognized numbers of which I know are likely another scam....I answer....cover the mouthpiece.....and wait for them to hang up.  Sometimes here more than one click like it goes through several paths to disconnect.  Is it a piggy back call so to speak.  Probably.  Most likely not even originating from the US.  Some of these no longer call now. Just don't speak, listen, wait for them to disconnect.  Think about it...they don't want the call TRACED.

You see, most people (like yourself) just ignore the calls but they keep calling.
I take a different approach and waste their time by pretending to be interested in their scam.

I get calls from this & other unsolicited numbers on my cell phone.  I never answer calls that do not ID the caller.  They never leave a message so they can't be up to any good.

received a call from this number 620-000-1235...did not answer. I was receiving the calls from different numbers up to 8 times a day. They keep changing the number they are calling from. I am on the no call list but it isn't working. Someone has got to regulate these calls. If you answer, they may be collecting some type of information from your phone, who knows?

These people just keep using different number...I have told them to get me off the list, etc but they just keep on-usually with a different number.  If you ask which credit card they want to lower the interest rate on, they say Visa or Master Card.  If you ask them to be specific, they either get nasty or hang up.  Why can't these dopes be stopped!!!

Got call from them too. They are rude and hang up when u tell them they are violating fcc do not call. Anyone start getting a lot of these kinds of calls after going on state unemployment? How are they getting phone numbers?

I've gotton calls from this number many times, why can't they leave discent people alone!

Just got a call on my phone from this number.  Since there is no option to be removed from the list I played along.  I get even more frustrated when the language is so bad I have to have each sentenced repeated.  When asked if I was interested in lowering my interest rate I said no that I just want to waste your time like you are doing to me.  The next question was what my cc balance is.  hmm.  When I said zero they removed me.  Guess I didn't qualify.  :)

One of a hundred different numbers these scammers use to hide behind.  I have tried ignoring them, no effect. I have tried telling them I'm on the Do No Call List, no effect. I have blocked their numbers, they just rotate to a different set of numbers.  I've been polite with them, I've been rude with them.  I've called Verizon and ATT, they have no way to trace back to the original caller.

I have taken to messing them.  Every time they call I press 1 to talk to them.  I feed them a line of bull.  When they ask for my SSID, I say I can't do that until I get a physical office address from them. CLICK!!!

Some of those people recognize my voice as soon as I come on.  CLICK!!!

My hope is that they will get fed up with me enough that they will stop calling.  Hasn't worked yet, but I'll keep trying until I can get enough information to report them to the attorney general of the state(s) they are operating from.

Inbound from "Samantha", press 9 to talk to "Robert Sanders" who is control number TC6767 then Mrs. Jackson and finally Denise Reynolds.  Got all the way through to them asking for the card number on the fake Orchard Bank, Visa, Exp 2/14 I made up.  Denise gave me 888-873-1646 as a call back number.

Ignored the call - because any call coming from a number starting with 000 can't be good.

This number calls about lower interest rates on credit cards.  If you speak to the representative to ask them not to call - they immediately hang up.  You are unable to call back.

???????  they left a voice message but nothing was said.
