Gave the name Andy Gibson but was Indian. Said he knew I hadn't debt but wanted to help me with debt??!! Don't tell these people anything as I told them before I haven't debt. Just get off their list and report them before some poor unsuspecting person is taken in by them.

yes, same company again, American Services telling me I have over $10,000 in credit card debt, when I asked how they have this information, she hung up immediately

Phone keeps calling me and used profanity when i told them not to call me anymore

male middle eastern accented voice asking if my husband was available, using Mr. and the last name. When told he wasn't, caller wanted to know if he was there or not. Then caller stated he assumes he's talking to Mrs. and last name. When I asked what his company name was, he said American Services. On further questioning, he told me it was about consolidating credit card debt (SEVERAL questions asked to get that info from him). When I asked why he was calling, he said "What?" When asked again why he was calling, he started spouting info he supposedly had about amount of credit card debt, payment schedules, etc. I asked if he was with our bank, trying to throw him off. He said no. I said we weren't interested, to take us off their list--he said "why, don't you want our help?" And I said, "Because I said so" and hung up on him. Then I did *69 to get the number. I will try the method described by jimwhoski in his November post.

They keep calling, but I make sure never to answer.

Blocked and reported

This person keeps calling me about a credit card...he can not tell me what card because I do not have one.  It sounds like he is from another country...I am 70 years plus and I do not need the calls  waking me up and causing me problems.

The arrogant little rat who called will hate me if he calls again. He had the nerve to tell me he has my credit reports, SSN, debit card number, expiration date and the CVV code. When I asked how he got it he hung up from me. Would SO LOVE for them to call again.

Say What?    This is a friggin discussion board where everyone here has no more ability than you to block or stop anyone's callers,  much less our own.   We come here to get and share information on these callers.

AT&T has a blocking service for 4.99 a month....I use it for these kind of calls. I figure 4.99 a month is worth the piece. I think you for put around 30 #'s on at a time....

I did not answer!  I do not want to answer.  I want them to stop calling!  Are you people supposed to do something about these callers and their compatriots?

Indian guy called me at 11:30 am. Told me I was 3 months past due on a credit card. I asked which one.  Silence, then call disconnected. He must have a list of people with debt. Don't give him any info !!!

This guy calls me with an obvious Indian accent and starts telling me how he can help me.  I asked him why he is calling me when I am on a do not call list and he said to help me.  I told him that I am going to sue him and I want his name and his company information.  His response: "try and find me."   Then then moron hung up.   Maybe I will take him up on his challenge.

File a complaint with your state Attorney General, the FTC, FCC, CFB and DNC..

This company has called me repeatedly about unsecured debt as if they want to assist with debt,  and calls themselves American Services.  They are QUITE insistent, even when I told them I was on the no call list and said I had told them repeatedly to stop calling and they STILL continued with their spiel.  I finally just hung up on them.  This company and this phone number should be reported for harassment.  They do not appear to be a debt collector, but instead a company who supposedly wants to help people get out of debt.  Who can one report this kind of harassment to when you are on the no call list?!!?  You shouldn't have to be on THEIR no call list, and I don't trust that they will pay any attention to that or anything else unless they are pursued through more legal means.

Said they were trying to help me fix my credit.. CALL BACK AND get off their do not call list.

Well, the do not call thing worked for less than a month. Now they call at 6:45am on Saturday or Sunday. The first time, they asked for me or my husband and I gave the caller (who had a middle eastern accent) an earful of filth and foul, said stop f****** calling me and I hung up. This last time, I did not take the call at all. I have had to start leaving my phone on silent at night because of these jerks.

Hardly speaks English and ironically says his company name is Americana and wants to help me with unsecured debt.  I asked how somebody who pays no attention to do not call lists could possibly be of any help to anyone except his own deceitful cause.  I  then said I suppose you will hang up now.  Not surprisingly,  he did.

Rang my cellphone @ 12:30p Eastern time.
I declined call, they left no message.

Yup, I called back and used the remove option as well. it would be nice however, if they bothered to say what promotion or marketing company they are so we know who to complain about...but I guess that would defeat their purpose.
I'll ask you nicely the first time...Please stop calling. Next time, I won't be so polite and you will get an earful.

I called back and was given the option off being taken off their preferred marketing list. It's an automated operator. I press 1 as I was directed to to be removed from their list and easy as that, allow 72 hours to be removed, call ended.
