I just received a ton of calls from them glad to know its a scam. but dis anyone else get called by 903-590-2600? is this number a scam too?

I was also contacted by a Jack Gates from number 646-351-1291 who claims to be calling from the Sheriff's Department.  His accent is so thick, I had a difficult time understanding what he was saying.  I was very suspicious, however because I recently received a call from a Mark Williams from number 760-278-3027.  My only sin was applying online for a payday loan, which I never accepted because the interest rates were ridiculous!  So to have these two numbers calling about a warrant due to applying online is crazy.  Thank God for these sites.  Once I researched and found this, I figured I was right.  These foreign people using American names, hard to understand, trying to intimidate!  Report them and save yourself some grief.  Also, if you must apply for a payday loan, go to a check cashing place and do it in person, or call the lender directly.  Do not go through a third party, online or on the phone.

I received a phone call from 646-351-1291 claiming that they are the New York Sheriffs department and they have a warrant for my arrest for unpaid payday loans.  I informed them that I was taking the voicemail they left me to my local police department and they hung up on me.  This is a scam.  When you call the number back you can hear a bunch of people talking.  They even answered the saying "HELLO".  Please dont give any information up to any of these people.

They called my damn job looking for me saying he was a investigator from the nypd and its important that I give him a call back.. I ain't no damn fool....

They keep calling me about some damn payday laon and the po po coming to get me. I cursed him out and no more calls.  Please I'm to old for this mess. New Your Police Dept.

I recieved a phone call today from him. He called himself Jack Gates from Sharon County Sheriffs department. I recieved another one a week or two ago from the same guy claiming to be from the payday loan/ advance company. Im taking the voice message he left me and taking it to the local police and local news station to investigate.

I keep getting harrassing calls that their is a warrant out for my son's arrest from this number...this guy is claiming he gave my son $8K in a pay day loan which he did not.... when I confronted the caller he refused to give me any information and hung up on me.

This Númber  claims to be officers from a sheriffs office stating that you are being charged with not repaying a pay day loan but they are willing to drop charges if you pay them 400.00. This is a scam and they target anyone who has inquired about a pay day advance loan
