The number I am receiving threatening calls from is 407-777-0876. They claim to have a lawsuit against my social security number, and have tried to get me to fork over money. These people are clearly from India because of the accent that I can barley understand, and the guy calls himself Jim Morgan from the offices of American Law and Enforcement Dept. First of all, how does a person from India have the name Jim Morgan? I applied for an online loan and apparently had my information stolen.

this guy called from 9722348702 claiming to be with si legal services bureau and said that i will be arrested gor something about a loan , well for 1  i have never applied for a loan in my life well i tryed to call the number back and it was ringing and ringing and never a answer

Ha, ha.  You're funny.  American Law AND Enforcement Department?  First of all, I seriously doubt there is anything "American" about you, judging by how you speak.  Second, it's "Law Enforcement" not :"Law AND Enforcement."  And lastly, there is no such department!  You guys have got to do more and better research if you want to scam someone!  And don't use Anglo names when you can barely speak or write English!,  You people are so fake, you're giving yourselves away!  Morons!

I live in North Carolina and i just recieved a call from these guys. He said his name was Officer
micheal something from the legal dept. of law and enforcment and again very hard to understand him.
I applied for payday loans a couple months ago and never got any money nor did anything wrong and he threated prison time for me unless i paid restatution in the amount of $830. These guys scared the
crap outa me until i google this situation and found all this information and seems to match exactly
whats going on with me. This number was 646-504-6547.

I received a call from this number. No message.

I have these people calling me saying that they are calling from ACS and that I need to resolve the matter quickly. I can barely understand them and one of the names they are currently using is Shane Wilson. They use to call me at my old job every 6 months. I did put a Fraud Alert on my credit report because there was an address on there that I never lived at and with these people knowing every detail of me I got scared. I was laid off back in October 2009, and went back to work in August 2010. The calls have no started again and only this time it's at my new job. UGH!!! I know they are checking my credit report, how do I stop them? It's embarrassing at my place of employment and they need to stop calling me. HELP!!!

Maybe when we get them to call the first time from a number we should just start forwarding all their calls to the FBI and State Attorney General office. I am searching for the software for my phone to do that now so instead of sending to my VM I direct right to where they should be.

"The subscriber you have dialed is not in service".  I highly doubt an "Legal Department" would be a cell phone subscriber and suddenly have to d/c their #?!

I also received a call from 646-360-1702, officer Robert Smith with the State investigation department, state of michigan.  When I called them back they said they were with the state of New York, idiots, can't remember one lie from another.  They told me I was being charged with violation of banking laws, check fraud and theft by deception.  I never got the cash advance to begin with.  This is very scary.  I will also turn them into the state attorney office.  Robert Smith, really, couldn't they come up with a more believable name.  Don't be taken in by thieves, always check them out.

Hilarious. I was getting several calls a day from these people, and they'd leave a message telling me they had a "legal affidavit" they wanted to get out to me. Finally, I answered and said, Okay, go ahead and serve me. I think you can do that via certified mail, right? He got irate and said if it were that easy, they'd have already served me. Then he said he was "near my home" and gave my address. I replied, Terrific, come on over. I'm here."

He then said he would never "dare to step foot" on my property, lest he be "caught up in my evil ways..." I swear to GOD, that's an exact quote. I almost fell over laughing.

They stopped calling.

The state or any law enforcment will not call just because you didn't pay a bill, probably a payday loan.  It's most likely a collection agency with a legal dept.  The worst thing they can do is garnish your wages only if they know were you work.

I got call from this number many times, first time I got call cause of some loan s***. Then they just keep calling me about they want to f**k me they are telling me to go to some address, I'm wondering how do they know my name.....  Someone needs to do something about this

Yaa had call from same number, they knew my name and It was about samething load, but they called me few weeks later saying they want to f**k me s***, they told me to call to some address. Idk what those jerks wants.

Thank you so much, they have been calling me weekly, stuff like this is so helpful.  I was so scared at first, I have turned them into the State of New York Investigation, the Federal Trade Commission, my local police and my local DA consumer fraud, it sounds like no one is really doing anything about it. They called my work  today after being told not to and I know that once you tell them no to they cannot but left a message and said they were Steve Brown with State of New York Investigationg Dept. I am at the end of my rope with this.

I received a call 3 days ago from an "Officer Dan Martin with State Investigations" trying to reach someone who used me as a reference.  He said she had commited fraud and I will be in big trouble if I ignore this call.  Indian accent and sounded like he was in a wifi cafe or boiler room.  I am reporting.

Wow!!! Yes, I received a call from 646-360-1702 today, about charges being brought against me for a payday loan that I never received.  I asked to speak to a supervisor that was of a United States origin & spoke English as a 1st language.  I spoke to a Danny Jackson, Robert Smith, & Chris Pastor: however, all American names, none spoke clear English.  

I dont get scammed very easy.  I asked them to forward me documentation of a payday loan that i supposedly received .  Yes, i did apply, but changed my mind & never received any funds. The man Robert Smith, actually called me "dumb."  & I told him, I will be dumb, but I will not be scammed!!!  

It is scary that these people have my name, old address, & ss#; I immediately called 1 of my credit card companies and verified that I have identify theft protection on my credit.

I got a call from this number yesterday..they left a message telling me that thier was an investigation on me and dont disregard this call. An officer Janet Jackson ok that was the first clue that this is a fraud.
They called again today and I answered this time. Officer Jackson said that there were 3 counts against me bank fraud, mail fraud and what ever the other one was. I asked what this was pretaining to and he or she because it sounded like a guy said something about a payday loan i didnt pay back. I then wanted to find out what payday loan. They had all ny info with last four digits to my ssn, my home address and where i worked. Yes I did a payday loan ahile back but have proof they are paid. I told them that and then a Kevin smith came to the phone and said that i needed to send them a fax stating tmy name , address, and that Im willing to resolve this case by paying them $611.49 within the next 20 mins. or it will go to the courts. I told him I wasnt sending anything and that I would be contacting a lawyer and he got alittle nervous at that time, told me go ahead and have my lawyer call them, I then told him he was a rotten person for tring to scam people then he hung up...dont fall for it

These people repeatedly call my place of employment, looking for an employee here.  They claim to be calling about an emergency, and threaten to send police for both that employee for not returning their calls, and for me, for not relaying messages.  Having found this, I'll be telling them that we've reported them to our state Attorney General, and with luck we can end this problem.

I got a call at work yesterday, 9.13 from 646-360-1702 demanding I do not ignore their call.  They had judgements against my social security number.  They never said who they represented.  The call could not stay connected so later on they called again.  They have my address, obviously my work number, my cell phone number and my social security number.   I went to bed last night wondering how to piss these folks off!  I've decided to transfer the call to the Local Police Department.  Some mad man with a heavy accent from India, Officer Kevin ??  At first I was really bothered.  I am paying a Debt Reduction Agency to help me pay my debts.  Every creditor I owe is included in this effort to clear out my debt. I contacted my rep and he responded by asking me to Google the phone number.  I feel a lot better knowing this is a scam.  I HOPE they call today, I really do.  Like some folks say and shiver, "I hope no one is sitting in our seats",  I say, I HOPE SOMEONE IS SITTING IN OUR SEATS!!!"  I'm sticking with the attitude to clear my name before I leave this earth, and I decided that before the threats and scams.
