Got the same call, said it was a courtesy call from Verizon.

calls daily in the mid afternoon - nobody there
My concern is that it is an automated system that tracks when calls are answered
to see when or if you are home.

Called and asked for the person in charge of the telephone services for this number.  No idea who this is though.

Hang up on us

multiple calls starting 7/30, daily, always hangs up upon answer, never leaves message.  When call back number from masked/unmasked number, hangs up immediately

Political call pushing a local Democrat for state house (Missouri)

Political call, asking about candidate of choice in my local election ( WA state)

This number has been calling my house at 10xs daily. I answer and they say nothing and just hang up. Why are they bothering me if they wont even speak. This is a new number for us and Im guessing it used to be a business number because every hour on the hour google used to call and tell us to update our business info. FINALLY someone must have removed us from there list after asking numerous of people to take us off this list. .I have to say the people that work for Google are rude all the do is hang up on you one actually made a noise and hung up. All I can say is karma LOL.

I wish the government would step up to the plate and get rid of these scammers. They say it is against the law but no one seems to care.
