I got a call from these guys and they said they were Fromm capital one they took me for 401.00 dollars this sucks because I couldn't afford it now I'm screwed

I have gotten several calls from this phone number and the guy has a heavy accent but is saying that Capital One has approved me for a $5,000.00 loan, which I never applied for. I told him tonight (after finally answering out of frustration), that if he called me again, that I would report him and his phone number to the police. I haven't heard back from him and hope to never get a call from him or any one else that is scamming to get money that I do not have.

I was got by this number I needed the cash. it sounded good the guy name is john matthiews
I lost 800.00 trying to get more smh at my self you live and you learn. but iam still going to,make a report.
and whats so funny the guy from the 16613757079 number called and had all my info and told me not to deal with any one but him.

Why would Capital One Bank call you and say you were approved for a loan you didn't apply for? Getting a loan doesn't work that way. Sounds like scammers wanting bank information.

I received a phone call, I was told that it was Capital one Bank, and I was approved for $3000.00. I asked if they were real, and they said. What got me thinking was when he asked for the last digits of my banking account number. When I said that I needed to talk to my husband, and told him I would have to get back with him, he hung up.

I received a call from this number at work today. Was very hard to hear, but when he asked for me by name, I said this is she, and he just kept asking for me. On the third call he said he needed my attorney information. At that second I knew it was an illegal scam, and asked if he could hold while I got that, then conferenced him into the FBI call number for Fraud division. He hung up on them

A person from this number called & said he was from advance america & I needed so much money to set aside so the money can be paid back every month on time.it was a lie.276.00 was took from me & I was told the money wad going to be replaced cause I didn't want the loan In 48 hours & never returned
