I keep getting these crap calls from these random people who I don't even know or want to know.

somethin about openin or reducin credit accounts

Said my car warranty had expired.  Got the call on my cell phone.  I get a couple of calls a week, not sure if the numbers are different about my car warranty.  Get about 3 a week on my home phone. They don't even know what kind of car I have.  I have asked to have my name removed.  They immediately hang up. I am on a do not call list.  It sure doesn't stop these people.

Just saw tons of info on the net about what a scam the car warranty call is.  One person had a great suggestion--Get a whistle and blow it in there ear.

This person called 6 times on 7-16 08 and will not talk the last time the made noises with no words.

i got a celllphone on my 11th birthday cuz i needed to stay in touch with my mother now i am tweleve, this 16623284874 tells me a bout my car insurance when i dont even have a car. i think these people calling me by this number is just trying to get money out of people who they dont know what there talking about

Said my car warranty had expired. Pre Recorded. Cost me fifty cents to answer a call I don't know. PREPAID sucks.

wasted cell minutes - is my cell company releasing numbers? - damn annoying - hope something can be done about this quickly

Some kind of credit card account crap is calling me

This stupid call woke me up so I figured I'll check online to see if it was a scam. And look here! Looking at the previous posts, it looks like this scammer's going to call me back. When they ask me my number, I'll give them my local police's number! Let the police know before hand that a scammer might call them and hopefully they can track these guys down.

They called me july 17th at 110pm. I didnt answer though.

If you get a call from 662-328-4874 hangup and call your local FBI office and file a complaint. These people are breaking federal law.

Another annoying unwanted unknown call. I thought there was the National Do Not Call List that make it illegal to call. Looked it up on 411.com and will be sending them a letter.

I think I can solve some of the problems of where this "company" is obtaining cell phone numbers from.  I let my son use my cell phone, which is pre-paid, emergency use only, for the WWE Raw "Million Dollar Giveaway" in June 08.  This is the only time my cell number has been given out and is also about the time these "car warranty" calls started coming in.

Wondering if anyone else can verify this is the source of these calls - that their numbers were also used for this promotion??

i'M IN FLORIDA, THEY CALLED AT 8:00PM.  A RECORDING SAID TO PRESS 2 FOR DETAILS ABOUT MY EXPIRING CAR WARRANTY, PRESS 3 TO BE REMOVED FROM LIST.
I PRESSED 2 AND SAT ON HOLD FOR 1 MINUTE.  BUT SINCE I WAS PAYING FOR THAT CALL, I HUNG UP.  THEY CALLED MY BRAND-NEW WORK CELL PHONE!!!  
THEY MUST BUY PHONE LISTS FROM CAR RENTAL COMPANIES OR SOMETHING BECAUSE THAT IS THE ONLY PLACE I HAVE USED THIS BRAND NEW NUMBER......

im on long island and got a call on my cell from this number. didnt answer b/c i didnt recognize the number.

Received cellphone call from this number at 11:55am EDT. Answered it, and upon hearing a "robot" on the line, hung up to avoid having minutes charged against my plan.

south jersey call from this number @ 1:40pm...no message

Hit them where their pocket book is... call the 800 numbers: Their phone is 1-800-649-1856. Also known as Dealer Services 1-800-607-9350. hit 5 to get in a nonstop loop about the national do not call list, and just let it run over and over and over for a few hours to run up their charges...assuming you have another line you can use in the meantime....

other numbers for the warranty companies: 1-888-963-6723 will get you thru to a Cust svce rep..

supposedly the person who set up the dialer at Qwest communications is zack austin at 1-800-753-0870

called didn't leave message.  tried to call back, didn't ring, beeped like it was disconnected...

I received a missed call a few minutes ago.

I got a missed call from this number at 11:13 this morning

Same as the others - just got the call on my cell, didn't recognise the number so I didn't pick up.  They didn't leave v/mail.  I tried calling the number back from a land line phone and got the "fast busy" tones

They called and then I herd a recording saying that my car warranty was about to expire. and that I need to renew it. And before I did anything thay hung up.

My number is also n. jersey called around 12:24 today (july 17th)

This number called my cell phone at 9:25 am PST and didn't leave a message, when you try calling it back, they pick up and don't say anything.
