Some Agent Morgan called from this number 678-801-4988 ext. 4057 and said that multiple alligations have been made against me and she was giving me an opportunity to make a statement.  
She left my file number on the voicemail.  When I called back I could not understand anything being said.  I am sooooooooooooooo very tired of getting these rip off calls is there a law against trying to get money from a hard working person lying and saying that you are paying off the a bill.  Can someone help with this problem.

they just did the same thing to me, call them back, you need to get everything in writing, make sure they can even collect in your state, WV is sueing this company, they were to send you paper work after calling you with in 5 days after 1st contact which they will not, everything they are telling you is a lie, they are just telling you this to scare you.  write to them telling them to send you everything in writing which they will not or you will send this to your AG in your state

I received a call from a Brook Logan stating that a motion of complaint will be filed against me in my county.  I called her back and she was trying to collect a credit card debt.  She got the amount of the debt down but I could still not pay.  She kept telling me that she was going out on a limb for me and I needed to call her back.  If she did not hear from me she would proceed with the complaint.  Befor I left work she left a message wanting verification of employment so that papers could be delivered there.  I am ignoring her but that call has me shook up.

I just got a call from this number. Caller ID said Borders - like the bookstore. A Pat Ross asked for my daughter. Without identifying who I was or my relationship to my daughter, I said I could pass along a message, then she told me the company was Rosenthal, Stein & Associates and gave me a number to call.
I asked why did the caller ID show it was Borders like the bookstore, was this about books? She said she didn't know how the CID showed up. I asked why were they masking their number and she hung up on me.   I tried calling her back, but got a busy signal. Creeps.

CALLED MY HOME NUMBER AGENT CHRISTOPHER LEFT MESSAGE FOR MY DAUGHTER, CALLED BACK TOLD HIM NEVER TO CALL MY NUMBER AGAIN AND HE GETS ANGRY AND LOUD-SOME PRO HUH- ANYWAY TOLD HIM NEVER TO CALL ME AGAIN.

These scammers just called me looking for my sister. I pressed zero, told them they had the wrong number, and they said they would remove my number...We shall see if they call back. Regardless of whether I know the person they are looking for or not, I am not here as an answering service!

Today my daughter received a call from 678-801-4988 and they told her I had had a heart attack or been hurt in an accident! They got to her from her previous neighbor. I can't believe what they go through to get to people. The real mystery is that I have no pay day loans or bad debts! I am going to put in a complaint to every place that will take it. These scum bags need to go to jail!!!!!!!

You cannot go to jail for owing money (save the government).
IE Fines/Taxes etc...

Ignore this guy. He is using intimidation to scare you into giving in to his scam. When he threatens police, tell him to go ahead. In fact, offer to conference call them in yourself. Watch how fast he hangs up. And if he calls your bluff, call him on it. I recommend to everybody, log this phone number and report him to your local fbi office.

just got a phone call from these skime balls...i even pointed what was on this page and how they calling my father and threatening and saying i would be in jail- what a crock! as i excelled she excelled she didnt even listen to me i said have a nice and by!

This Person keeps calling me for someone named "William Peter" and I don't know who that is but when I listen to the messages it sounds like a "MACHINE" saying this, and one of the calls they said William Peter MUST come to their office immediately, but they do not realize that the person who their calling for hasn't come for about 1-2 MONTHS! I don't know how to stop this but, I want this caller to STOP!

I just spoke with a Ms. Ross and told her to contact my attorney.  She basically refused to do so and told me to have my attorney call her.  I infomred her that if she or her "company" is serving me with some form of action, my attorney is required to get a copy.  This is the law.  This is a complete scam.

They call my home # almost every day during the week at various times and rude messages about a law suit.   Reserach reflects this number is based in or around Atlanta, Ga (Cobb County).   I have call blocking so have their number blocked.   None-the-less, they still call everyday but cannot get through.   It is annoyiong though.

This company is beyond unprofessional, they are incredibly unethical!  They call customers with threatening language, telling them that people will be coming to your job or business to pick you up or that charges are being filed against you in your local county.  They hope to scare you in to chasing them down with cash.  The representatives refuse to provide you with legally required information such as phone, fax numbers and address for correspondence.

I have been recieving non-stop calls from 678-801-4988 when I called the number back the lady verified who I was andf made the statement thas she was from Rosenthal Stein& Associates and then attempted to give me the mini miranda which she stated wrong. She then said court papers had been filed against me and my employer should be advising me of that tomorrow! I said ok are you sure about that? She said yes, I then said well let me give you my attorney's name and number..she screamed oh no! and hung up the call

spoke with a lady who, after she found my information was surprisingly helpful.  her supervisor was around and was answering questions for her so he got on the phone to talk to me.  when i tried to figure out what the deal was, he clarified. he also mentioned that folks throw stuff away because it looks like junk mail.  i'm sure i did that.  better yet, i read it and said "fuckem."  at any rate, they didn't threaten me.  maybe it's because i sound like i will cuss someone out behind some b***s***.  maybe it's because i work at a law firm i didn't get the legal jargon b***s*** that uneducated collectors try to use.  who knows?  i don't know how this is gonna pan out, but thought i'd toss in my 2 cents.  

maybe they have gotten so many complaints that they've gotten their s*** together.  glad they did so before they got to me.

This is a scam - no debt collector has the authority issue an arrest warrant - no private law firm does either. I made the mistake of getting a payday loan on line - that's how they got my information. Do not give them any information. Ask that they send a written conformation to your home address - if they are legit you will get a reply in the mail - do not give them your address - do not confirm any information they may read back to you - it is a fishing expedition!!@!...these b*****ds almost cost me my job.

Just rec'd. a call on my cell phone, from this number.  How they got my cell phone number is beyond me !  I give it out only to certain people. Time for me to put the block on them !

I have tried to explain to this company that the number they're calling doesn't belong to the person they're attempting to contact.  I asked multiple times for them to remove me from "Christian's" account.  I explained to Vitelity LLC that I have had this number for over a year, yet they continue to call daily.

Bottom line they are not a scam. However, they are a debt collector. I am filing for bankruptsy gave them my lawyer information. Then lied that they called the firm.
For information sake unless your debt was in the millions these or any debt collector is not going to go through the process and the expense collecting from you. Sure the honorable thing to do is pay the debt. But with the economy the way it is, for the time being probably not possible. I have been there. The cost to chase someone owing $1500 is just not worth the effort. I'm coming out of a very long unemployment run. It takes time to get caught up and pay for the things that are first. Rent, food. Some loan you took out a year ago is just not on the radar. The options are there but the chances are slim that your going to get dragged into court, or even have your wages garnished.

This is a f*****g scam!!! They called my job threating to take me to jail!! Dumb b******!!!

I've been getting pre-recorded calls from these people at my place of work for a number of months for an individual that no-one has heard of. A Mrs Henry called yesterday evening (after hours) and left a voice mail. BTW Quick update on their BBB rating : it has now dropped to F (on a scale of A+ to F).

I keep getting phone calls from this number and got onother one today, telling me if I didn't return their call by 4pm, they would file it in court today. Why is it taking so long to have this stopped?

I got a call at work from a Mrs. Ross, unknown to me telling me I need to call them back. No reference as to what just said it was Rosenthal & Stein, crooks.

I just got a call from these people! Dont be scared of them or their threats. they used a technique called phishing, that means that since, either you applied for an online payday loan or actually got one, they stole the information from the payday loan companies. there is such an act called the fair debt collection act, you should be read a mini miranda that begins " this is an attempt to collect a debt and any information obtained may be used" these people are stupid and are liable against providing debt information to others. Per the law no one other than the debt holder may be contacted for the debt and only the debt holder or spouse is allowed to discuss the matter. these people are morons and they will discuss your debt with virtually anyone. I have been getting these calls for a while now, at the beginning they scared me with all the legal jargon, but now i just ignore them. Dont give them your debit card info. this is a stupid company with stupid people working there. DONT BELEIVE THEM!!!!!!! ITS A SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!

This is a total scam!! They call pretending to be "Agents" and tell family members to call them back immediately with information about you because you are supposedly under investigation and their lives are in danger. Then they demand $1500 or more to be wired immediately to prevent a fake arrest warrant from being served. Don't fall for this scam. Call your local attorney generals office and report these calls right away. DON'T BE FOOLED!!
