Woman's voice, probably black, called and asked to speak to my mother in law, who doesn't even live here. I asked who was calling, and the person said "Blah, Blah from a breast cancer charity". I then said my mother was not here. The person asked when my mother would be here, and I wouldn't say. I asked if I could take a message, with name and phone number, and the woman said no, she would call back.
If this was a legitimate charitable pitch, why wouldn't the person make the pitch to me?
I recalled the number, and got a voice mail, saying that the company is some sort of paid fund raiser for charities, officed in the "Central Standard Time Zone".
Reverse directory shows this is a land line in a bad corner of North East Las Vegas.

they call every night same time 8:30 pm on the nose, and tonight when they called i answered and they asked for my sister in a very rude manner. I told the guy what is his attitude problem and then he just asked again for my sister. I told him no and demanded his name and message, he just said his name was ryan and he was calling from community services. Dont know what that is but it sounds like a scam callers beware.

Just got my first call from this number (8:14 PM, Pacific time). Wife answered and individual on the other end asked for me, she asked who was calling and the caller refused to answer. Whatever this is it is not legitimate!

4 calls from this number - all at the same time of night, around 8PM - no message left - I finally got an answer when I said *what * when I answered instead of hello - told them I didnt know what they wanted or why the called but this was a do not call number - to take my number off of their list. I startled the original caller - another voice took over.
A week ago I called this number using a cell phone - it was a recording about marketing - not sure what type.
I suspect this is a call from a local prison in the Las Vegas area -
