Same story here.  Told person that I could only accept cash.  They tried and tried to get me to get a paypal account...which I already had, but wouldn't give them information.  Glad to know my instincts were correct.

706-389-4481 texting me to get an O2 machine from me. this persons phone is listed in Athens GA.  that is all I found out.
They started the converastion out earlywith the fact they wor for Delta Airlines...blah blah blah...called himon it and he responded that I was a do***ebag...lol. AND HE/SHE is the scammer...of course that was after I stated they  sounded not legit so I was going to forward their info for checking out if they were real....got real upset I guess. and I even to themNOT to CONTACT me again...that  is when they broke into name calling..nice huh?
ah well. sticks and stones....no loss here

Got a text from the same number.. I have a medical bed for sale .. E said he was so interested to but it .. Then texted me later asking for my zip so he can contact his hauler for shipping cost.. Gave it to him then he texted me back asking if I can provide him with my PayPal account so he can transfer fund immediately and I can take the ad off Craigslist .. I contacted PayPal they advices me not to go with transaction as if I can't provide any documentation of shipping he can get his money back.. I texted him back asking for money order or cash if poosible with his hauler guy.. Said that PayPal is the safest way as he is hearing imparted .. I told him I want a proof of delivery .. He replayed back I'm picking it up I'm responsible don't worry about paypall. I googled his number and thanks for u guys that I found out thy he's a scam.... I texted him saying that I found out about him and he better not to contact me .. He replied .....I Almost Got U F****r ... But I think he regrets that now lol

This guy is still trying his scam. Do not deal with this person. Can't someone find them and stop this

Received a text message from the same number. Wanted to buy my item on CL but because of the nature of his job he needed to have his "hauler" come get it. Yah right.

Glad I looked this up.  I got a text from this person about 10 minutes after I listed an item on craigslist.  Already pulling the same stuff he/she did with you guys.  Glad someone complained to alert other.

Got a txt from 706 389 4481, quite similar to other complaints, he wants to purchase my item on craiglist and he will have his uhaul dealer come to pick up and he will send me finds via Paypal...said he is hearing impaired and cant talk on phone...when i text him and told him my husband is an FBI agent and i told him to run his scam on someone else, he replied "so what?"

SCAM! i m selling a motorcycle and received a email from this number , I tried calling but it went straight to a recording. I told him I have PayPal and he said he would send the money today. he said you cant call me because I am hearing impaired. I let him know real quick I know all about this type of scam. needless to say I haven't heard back from him.

Yes this is a scam. I did not fall for it thankfully! I googled first. Seemed too quick and sketchy. Do not sign up for paypal for this jerk.

Scammer wants to pay via PayPal, Asked for zip code so the "hauler" could pick it up. Was unable to come see it as employed as "attendant on United Express Gojet airlines. Spoke w/ PayPal. They advised that even if the money was posted to my account without a web based legit tracking number scammer could dispute payment. Don't think I am going for it!

This guy is trying to buy our RV which is posted on Craigs list and wants our Paypal account.  Glad we found out about this guy before we made a very expensive mistake.

The Scammer tried it with me today via text message too. Wants to post the funds to my PayPal account today and his 'hauler' is going to pick up the item. Says he works as a flight attendant on United Express Gojet airlines. His (or Google's translator :)) English is not very good.

Yea, got an email today. Sucka lucka. Not lucky here. Told 'em to suck off. Here's the message, "hello, how was your day going? I just viewed your listing. Now i hope u have it for sale. Kindly get back to me on here now."

Craigslist scammer tried to get me to accept payment via Paypal for an ad I put on craigslist, I told him to wire the money to his ? transport company? and pay me cash when they came to pick up the stuff... they never responded
