No, the shill story can't have both a tragic ending and a happy one or it doesn't work. The point of that mock indignation was to discredit this website and all comments which disfavor the fraud factory. The false savior-collector story would need to be separate, its point being to paint the thugs as trustworthy and prompt payments from victims who lower their guard.

AAAH,  You're just bitter because this  discussion board is costing you a lot of hard disearned scam money.  You really love us,  don't you.    We understand!    It's hard now days to extort a decent living from others.  And on top of that,   this poor man has been stricken with the dreaded shill disease known as ......Loan Dementia.......
However,  in his post,  he forgot the traditional  "Thanks for helping me"  that normally ends these post,   thanking the "so called collector"  for coming to his rescue and putting him on the straight and narrow path.

Thanks for the fearmongering shill post, straight from the illegal debt collector handbook ...

"I saw all that bad stuff on dah webbinets written about this company, so I ignored them and now I'm in big trouble and I was shamed in front of all my coworkers and it's all your fault for lying and now I'm going to insult all of you."

One more time for the slow kids in the boiler room .... A payday loan is *A LOAN* and not a "hot check". Consumer debt in America is *NOT A CRIME*. A "normal person" can easily figure that out. A "normal person" has a right to dispute a debt collector's claim and seek the shelter of state and federal laws, and should when a PDL thug comes calling.

B***s***! No court would award over three grand on a $360 loan. In addition, pay day loans are illegal in many states. You can not plead the courts to award a judgement on an illegal loan.

I challenge you to orward the document number of your case with the state and county so we may verify your claim.

I am getting this number calling me at a Private School, the person they are asking for doesn't work here and I don't think ever has. I told them to quit calling this number and they told me that the person they are calling for has to tell them not to call this number. How do you report them? Who do I report them to?

I have gotten calls like this one before be very careful there are many scamers out there that will claim that you owe money you don't. There are also individuals who go on to places like this one and post things like I got sued in court by these people and in fact they are working for the same scammers that are calling you! If you believe you do owe the money make sure they send you proof in writing of the debt! This is required by law. Do not give them any information of yours for them to validate! If it is valid debt they already should have the information. The business of scamming people out of money for claiming to have civil suits, law enforcement coming after you ect. grossed in the billion dollar range last year! (All can be verified Google  bogus Debt collectior phone scams.) The FTC has warning out there as well.  There are protections out there for consumers so do your research!  Good Luck!!

So, what did you ending doing?
What about identity theft?

I just got the same phone call, (I haven't talk to anyone yet), it was a lady, she left a message in my answer machine saying that it is in my best interest to call them back. She never said her name or a company's name. So I called back to the number she left and I got an answer machine CLM associates instructing to leave my name and phone number and they will call me back. I know I don't own anything so I an wondering about if this is a scam or what?

I did do some research on the number and comes back to a firm based out of Houston,Texas , In my experience certain loans are not instantly placed on your report as not all companies do report. If this is not on your credit report and all information does come back to you it would be in your best interest to rectify the matter before it does go any further. This firm does have a history of filing civil lawsuits and placing judgments against the debtor. If that does happen your looking at paying at least triple what you owe and it will destroy your credit. I'm not sure where you reside but when judgements are passed you are looking at wage garnishment up to 25%(as per federal law), liens being placed on your assets(car, home ect) and or a levy being placed on your account until the balance of the judgement is paid off. Hope this information helped and I wish you the best
