Got a call from somebody Johnson from 714-983-8179 regarding my promise to pay via debit card and wanted to know if I'd like to settle the account from my debit card today.  He said he was from cashnet usa.  I said I'd like to settle it and he said ok and sounded really hopeful.  He asked for my debit card number and I said I'm not giving it to you right now and he wanted to know when I would give it to him.  I told him I'd tell him when hell freezes over and hung up the phone.  I contacted Cashnetusa and spoke with them and the lady said a lot of these calls are magic jack or cellphones, but that this is definitely a scam and verified that I had never had a loan with them.
I wish the feds would stop these idiots.  My local sheriff's dept said to block their calls and the state attorney general said I can't be sued without documentation and that the calls are not proper documentation, so not to worry.  Meanwhile, my social security number and seemingly everything else is out there for the scammers to feast on....

Couldn't tell if you spelled your ?oh so witty? name incorrectly on purpose considering the rest of your post is so grammatically well written, NOT! I agree, go back to whatever hole or cave you crawled out of. And it?s very likely it's not in this country. FYI, spell-check, you should check it out. Especially if you're trying to convince people that this POS SCAM is legit. People like you are shameless and disgraceful! I'm so glad I stumbled upon this website in searching this. These b****rds called me at 6am in the morning and I work late nights. Legally, collection agency's are not allowed to contact you beore 7am it may even be 8am so then and there I knew something was up. When I proceeded to ask, I have no clue what you are referring to and why you are calling what is this about. He would not answer, just go back to how I need to pay and when will I pay. I said I would NOT pay anything without further information and then call was disconnected. I called back about an hour and a half later. Same guy answered and I asked what the name of this business was, he asked for my name, I said no, I want the name of this company, he said if I wouldn't give him my name to look up in his system he would not tell me name of business. And then hung up on me. This is extremely disconcerting. Its obviously a scam but what about those people that aren't quick to pick up on it. This foreigner needs to be deported and put in prison! Does anyone know how to proceed in getting this guy taken down!!

Just received a call from this number to my cell phone. A man with an Indian accent told me that he was with Cash Advance America- and that I had a loan with one of their companies that I was trying to avoid paying back. I said "Oh, is that right?" and he replied "Yes mam, and you are going to have some very serious legal trouble if you do not pay for this".
I laughed at him, and told him to get me his supervisor. After a little bit, another person got on the phone with an Indian accent, claiming to be the supervisor. I simply said "Oh, do you not have a supervisor who speaks English at a FIRST language????"
He said "I need you to give me your account number" and I said "No sir, you please provide me with the account number which you are calling about, since you are trying to collect a debt from me you must already have my personal information and I would like you to give it to me right now"
He mumbled something about sending this to my mail and hung up.
Ignore these bozo's- they are just conducting a "Phishing" scam, using the phone instead of email.

This caller called me by my name and starting asking me how was my husband doing and where are my kids and then he started talking very dirty to me.

This is an absolute fraud, they called me like crazy but I was in a meeting and didn't pick the phone, they called again, some South Asian voice but an American name, he told that I have some fast cash USA loan which I have not paid, for god sake I haven't taken any loan ever in my life so far, but this guy was adamant and not dropping the call, he told that I owe 866 dollars, when I told how and what is the proof they have, how the money was given to me and why it doesn't show on my credit report, he gave some junk reasons.
  He also told that I can pay in installments, but it would cost me more, I have reported them to FBI and FTC, FTC counselor told me that it's a sheer scam and don't pay them any money, any debt on you will show up on your credit report, so please keep an updated copy of your report and please report these a** ho*** to federal agencies, DO NOT PAY THEM ANY MONEY.

This guy with a very heavy Indian accent called me today from this number and said that he is from an attorneys office that is suing me because of a loan that has not been paid back. I informed him he must have the wrong person because I never took out any loans. He verifies an incorrect email address and I tell him that it's not correct. He starts being very rude and tells me repeatedly not to lie to him. After repeating the same thing a few times, I told him to send me an official letter since I could not understand half the things he was saying and he hung up.

I just received a call from this number and it is absolutely a SCAM!  The indian speaking man keep saying so you don't want to pay your loan and I stated I have never applied for quick cash online.  I told him that I would be contacting my attorney and he just hung up on me.  How do we stop these people?  This happened to my daughters boyfriend they called our home # (same # they called me on).  They told him that a warrant was issued and it was going to  be served that following Monday.  He contacted the PD and they stated there was no warrant on him anywhere.  So, the next time this person called he stated he was going to contact his attorney and sue him for fraud.  The man never called back but now I am receiving these calls.  What can be done about these SCAMS?  I just contacted the # to find out what company this is and they stated it was a cash advance that possibly done over the internet.  I have NOT requested anything re: cash advance over the internet at all.  He stated that he would send his officer to pick me up and put me in jail.  I did not get man's name and so I tried calling back and not an answering machine comes on asking you to leave a message and that they would get back to you.  I will be contacting out local PD regarding this matter.  This is absolutely frustrating.

I received a call from this phone #.  Caller stated that I owed money to a business "payday loan" , the amount he said I owed was $200.  He told me he was part of the collection agency and he would take me to court if I did not pay the money.  Caller had a strong indian accent.  

I called back the # listed on my phone & got a recording that is not very clear; JERK!

714-983-8179 made the phone call at 7;20am, and threaten to take legal action if we still not pay the money. He knows my home address and my home phone number.

Got this phone call from 714-983-8179, saying he will take legal action if still not receiving the mortgage payment, and passed his phone to his supervisor to say the same junk twice. His background noise shows he made the phone either from a junk family or a public place. He knows my phone number and my home address.

Someone at this number keeps calling me. From the messages on this blog, it sounds like a scam. The person seems to be cursing and using profane language so I think that his phone number should be shut off. He also seems to be threatening people. For someone who is timid and old, they may be afraid and fall for this scam and possibly lose money.

Yes, they called my work a few times and threatened me.  Thick accent, I traced it back to New York.  I live in Washington State.

Me too, they said I owed money and their were going to arrest me.  They had a lot of my information.  So I've talked to the bank and they are on top of them trying to get money.  Be careful what you put or do on the internet

Just got a call from this # to pay $400.00 on the 19th. Wanted to know how much I could pay on the 19th.  He also called Mike Johm at 330 989 2468.  Will send documentation after I pay.  Said I won't pay until I receive documentation of a bill.  Mike Johm was very hostile.

Got a call at 8:03A.M. on 10/17/2011. Dominic asked when I would pay the $400.00 to clear my account.  He called on #303 989 2468 and gave me this #to call him back.  He also has a # 845 335 5079.  saying his is from Central Affidavit Services.

They have my social security number and that I defaulted on a loan.

Well i gone through them and i found out this is a team of Special investigation beauro which actually works for F.I.B and my brother is in jail now. Even i thought they are scammers but it was true god help my brother from this... sobefore you do any mistakes do go through then think about they ..

These places are crazy...i used to get calls from other numbers and now im getting it from this one with the same little indian guy talking...all the names are BS John Smith,Harry Jones etc..Its alittle crazy that all these people are getting these calls and no one is doing anything about it...The first time they called i told them i was a lawyer and that i needed to see this information so they told me i needed to fax them my information so i asked for the fax number and they gave it to me...Actually all that was on the page was "Go F*uck Yourself" as im not a lawyer and when the fax didnt go through i called the number they gave me and it was a number to a dry cleaners...its a big scam so dont worry people they cant and wont do anything to you with all there threats...you cant block a SS # otherwise people who steal peoples identies would never be able to do that because they would just get it blocked...THAT CANT HAPPEN and thats why they get away with it...DONT WORRY AND DONT PICK UP THE PHONE

oh im one of their favorite people there lol. i knew this was fraud from the beginning and i have been messing with them the whole time. they told me i owe them 397.74 for a cash advance loan i did not pay (ive never had a loan in my life) and that i need to pay it back immidiately or i will have a law suit. i had my attorny (not reaally it was just me) call him and he refused to answer any questions, then when he called me back i told him my attorny had already talked to him and he said "f*** your attorny he can suck my d***" so know when he calls back i just use him as my daily intertainment lol.

This number called me Thursday saying I was being sued. He (again strong Indian accent) did not say who he was only that I had a loan and did not pay it, which isnt true. I told him I was on the road and he needed to mail me the paperwork. He said. "I will but I need to know your intent. Will you pay or should we take legal action. I told him to send the paperwork and call tomorrow. He never called. Now a week later he called back and once he heard my voice again, immediately hung back up. Unfortunately this isn't the first idiot to pull a scam like this but I'd like to know who's sharing loan history with this guy.

I forgot to add to beware if you're requesting loans over the internet that may be one of the ways these companies are retrieving basic information about potential customer's.
