I have gotten numberous msgs from this company from auto dialed msgs, msgs from a Ms. Hendericks who says she's in the legal dept and now msgs from a Josh(Towers, Powers or something like that) who says he is in the finalization dept. I call back and get VM's then I call the other number they have left(866-795-6989)and that msg states I have recv mailbox 2002(real professional). I have left numerous msgs that I am a previous victim of a scam, not sure what this is about, but per the Attorney General's instructions I will not release any info, or verif anything without validation of whatever they are calling about. That if they want me to put my request in writing I will and need their address. This has been going on for much longer then a month and I have still not received anything in the mail. Now Josh leaves a msg that since I have been unresponsive and it's been almost 60 days to his/their calls I leave them no choice but to proceed accordingly. What they will proceed with I have no idea, but I just got a call from my ex-mother in-law and they have called their house. I have no idea how they got their info when I have been seperated and divorced for 12 years. Told her that it's about a debt that I'm refusing to pay. So now I'm really mad, because now your giving false info to my ex-in-laws. I told her that if they call again to tell them you gave me the msg and if they call there again to call the police. I have left Mr. Josh another msg re: this incident and he should be able to tell from my msg that I am now pi**ed off, and to do what ever he needs to do and I will see him in court but he had better come with his documentation because the judges in my state don't play, or want their time wasted with bull. I just pulled my credit report last mth and there isn't anything on there that shouldn't be and nothing in collections. Once I finish this post I will be calling the Attorney Generals Office to find out what my next step is to file a formal complaint. DID THEY EVER STOP CALLING YOU AND DID YOU EVER KNOW WHY THEY WERE CALLING YOU?

they keep calling me and harrassing me at work and on my cell phone, but the number they want me to call back is an 866? something number . They keep telling me it's concerning a fraud and need my attorney or myself to return the call. I havent had anything fraud concerning myself I don't transact busniess that way. The person say his name is Josh Powers and he is from legacy asset management

Legacy Asset Management. They are debt collectors. The time sensitive thing is their new spiel to try and get you to call back. Calling family members/friends is their way of putting pressure on you by embarrassing you. They always have a file that has come across their desk, that needs an urgent reply from you.

someone called a friend of mine saying his name was "Josh Powers" and he was looking my me about a time sensitive matter involving a bank card and she was listed as a reference.  Sounds like fruad... why wouldn't you mail me or call me?  He addressed her by first name only.  I haven't moved, changed jobs or changed phone #s in over 15 yrs. I told my friend to call him back and have him to mail whatever it is to me since.  He said no, because it is too time sensitive.
