If your nick name wasn't stored on a database online, they would have never gotten it. So you should make up a new nick name and see if they can guess it. 100 percent impossible. For example if you make up a nick name like XDFPO and never let it get online, Turd Service or all the scammers, their bots, and their wimpy bosses combined will never ever be able to guess it.

Just got a text as well, they somehow got my nickname, not my legal name. Sounds fishy since other people have been getting texts

Someone texted me from this number with my name spelled correctly, and when I asked who it was they told me to add them on Y! messenger to find out who it was... Definitely a scam.
