2 calls over the past two days, no message. Caller ID just says 'Saskatchewan TE" -- reverse phone lookup says 'unpublished' NY, NY.

Calls at least once a week.

I called back and its a collection agent!

I received  a call from "718-887-3973" and answered, but got no response.  So I "private called" them back, got an answer, but muted my speaker phone.  They answered, "thank you for calling ERC, how can I help you".

That was it... Now to find out who ERC is...

Hang up call.  I *69'd the call to get the number as I do not have caller id.  I ask him the name of his company & he didn't want to tell me.  I told him that according to the FTC ( Federal Trade Commission) they have to disclose the type of call & identify their company or they are breaking the law.  He told me that the name of the company is A.R. Management.  & asked for someone I did not know.  I told him I didn't know that person & I wanted my number removed from their call list. I also told him I was on the do not call registry. He said he would call back later & talk to my husband & hung up.

Just got a call from 718-887-3973; silence for a few seconds when I answered, then a hang up click.  Caller ID read "Private Number".

Got a call from 718-887-3973, came up as Private Number.  No one answered on the other end, so I hung up and called back.  A woman answered and I told her someone from her number just called me, but there was no one on the line.  I asked her was this was about, she confirmed my phone number than asked my name.  I asked who she thought she was talking to and she replied with my ex-brother-in-laws name.  Told her that was not me, she asked if I had contact with him, to which I replied no.  She said she would take my number off her list.

Got a call from 718-887-3973; caller ID came up as "Private Number".  Silence on the other end of the line.  Is this just a way to see if a phone number is valid?  At any rate, it's a bother.

call from 718-887-3973 came up as "Private Caller" on my caller ID.  A clever trick to get me to answer?  If so, it didn't work.  I didn't, and checked here, and was glad I hadn't.

Have received several messages from this number and they are looking for a specific person. They have left me messages. I am not the person they are looking for. I finally called them back and the woman who is english challenged did say they would remove my number from their information

Received a call at home from 718-887-3973, but no one was on the line even though I waited for about 30 seconds.

REceived a call on my cell phone. No one answered after I said hello.

Received a call from 718-887-3973 at my work desk, when I answered no one spoke up. I couldn't tell if anyone was on the line, but the call soon dropped. No idea, thought I would leave a post.

Received a call fromthis number today at 7:02 pm central time. I did not answer (unknown number to me) and they did not leave a message.

If you wait long enough you will finally get a "message" from a woman who obviously is challenged using the English language. They are asking for someone unknown to us and they are obviously trying to collect a debt. They leave instructions to call back at a number. If you do you will encounter a very belligerent person who neglects to remove the number from their calling list. Since the calls are repetitive they are harassing. I challenge you to call an elected official on a regular basis without any purpose and see how long it takes the police to knock on your door.
We can expect little to be done about these harassing and annoying calls since the "law makers" who could stop them are deep in the pockets of these agencies. It's time to elect people that will represent us and kick the bums out of office.
p.s. We do pay our debts and have nothing outstanding.
