I received response to my Craigs List ad saying " Text me, no emails please"

That "person" is working some marketing scheme attracting phone numbers. They are auto-responding to CL ads with a very generic reference to "if the item is still available..." I got 6 copies on my Chicago CL posts within 15 minutes. Report them to their phone provider.

Alice Brown, My Chicago Craig's List responses (6 so far) say, alice brown and reads, "if still available text me (724) 427-5589 no Email Pls." I fell for it the first time, then saw the other several auto generated copies that arrived within the next 15 minutes. I called the number, no answer, unavailable at this time. Left a loving message of appreciation for the SPAM and reported "it" to CL via their messaging system flagging action. Moron got my phone number and stole 15 minutes of my time....so far.
