The perfect response to these people is perhaps a reference to their sexual orientation or perhaps their mother's profession (the old one of course).  You can't be charged with making an obscene phone call if the telephone records indicate that you never made a call.  This stuff has to stop and the politicians don't seem to have the power to do it.  We must make it as unpleasant for the caller as they make it to us.  If they don't like hearing about the things that I would love to do to their mother perhaps they will quit calling.  At the very least I get the satisfaction of having upset them as much as they upset me.

This so-called company is a fraud.  I never signed up to win these trips that I've so-called won.  I'm told that this company is just trying to get credit card #s, and this isn't the first time they've called my phone.  Other people have said that it does no good to get on a do not call list for this number, because they are on it....and they keep getting calls from them anyway.  One person got the address of where this company is located, and it would be nice if the powers that be made sure that these people are giving exactly what they say they are giving, and not taking people's money and /or credit card #'s for other than what the customers expects to get in return.  The company is "Tour America" located at 28870 US Highway 19N ste 407Clearwater, FL., 33761.  I hope that reporting the number actually does some good, and this is not just a waste of time.  Thank you if you are doing something about this!

caller said I had been to David's Bridal a while back (I have been married 2 years and didnt' go to davids bridal when looking for a dress) and entered a sweepstakes.  I told him I hadn't been there and hung up.

This number (727-210-6876) called my cell and claimed I won a vaction to Orlando for FREE. I knew right away that is was a scam. However, I allowed her ("Eve Riggs with Special T Travel") to continue her spill on all this great stuff i've won. As the conversation progressed, the truth came forward...She said a 90-minute presentaion with a local resort is required during the vacation and a $298 fee is needed. She actually had the nerve to ask for my credit card number. She has lost her mind!!! ITS A SCAM DO NOT ANSWER!

You should never confirm that it is ever right even if it is or isn't.. Stay calm and just continue to talk and say no.. but don't let them know they have your information or anything about you. Then call your credit card company and request a new card with a new number.. Most of the time they can't use your card without you providing them with the 3 numbers in the back of the card.. If they call back and they likely will.. You play around with them..

They actually have called quite a few times but I have been rude to them humoring them as they want my mother. So this time they called twice today asking for her but the number is blocked today. Yesterday they called from the 727 number.. since I read this I was letting them go on and on.. until they said I need your checking information and I said I am sorry but I don't give out that information over the phone. Then she said I could not receive the discount off my magazines.. aww poo. NOT!!!!!  Then they called again and I told the guy you guys just called.. idiot..

Got a call from this number today 727-210-6876 the guys name was Brian Egan he kept telling me things and then he kept saying come on get happy he did this three times then he asked why are you not getting I told him it sounded to good to be true so it probably is He told me i was the 29th winner out of the 40 people that had won out of 4 million people who entered  I ASKED HIM HOW MUCH MONEY IT WAS GOING TO COST ME HE STATED $298.00 for four people i said if i won then why do i have to pay any thing. He said we have to give some to the IRS. Then he said what i won was worth over $2000.00. Then he said we have your credit card on file he told me the right expiration date and the last 4digit numbers which were right. He then said if this was a scam then we could take money off your card and run with it. i asked him how he got my card info. He said it was on file but i never gave them that info. i only put the stamps in the place they needed to go. i never wrote do anything i still don't no who he got that info. i told him i needed to talk to my husband about this. He wanted to no what the best time to call was 6:30pm He said they were only suppost to call one time until they got a hold of the winner. But he would call back when my husband was home. guess what he never called back.

i don't know what they wanted because it was a missed call on my cell when i called back it said good bye

this number called me today, i did not answer, they did not leave a message, i called it back out of curiosity, and all it said, in a really creepy woman's voice was "goodbye" LOL hopefully it doesn't call me back.

how did they get my number? and why did they call me? i have no magazine subscriptions or anything, so random!

Called claiming I recieved a trip to FL from teh Publishing Clearing house

They call two to three times a day and when I answer a recording says goodbye and when I try to call it back to ask for them not to call anymore a recording says goodbye.

I received a couple calls from this number a couple weeks ago and I spoke to a man who sounded like he had some problems or something.  He told me that I had won a trip to Florida but that I had to pay out of my pocket to get to Florida to claim my prize.  I actually do have magazine subscriptions but I never authorized anybody to enter me in any kind of sweepstakes.  I told the man I had no interest in this and to not call this number again.  He was real weird with me then he hung up.  This past Saturday and Sunday I was out all day each day and this number appeared on my caller ID again.  I am so fed up with this.

They called me today saying i won tickets for 5 to disney in orlando i just need to pay $498.00 to get the tickets.

Been called a few times, I never answer an they don't leave a message. I called them out of curiosity at like 2 am when I knew they should be closed. All it has is a woman saying "bye" then your disconnected.  Very strange not even goodbye or we are closed nothing just "bye" huh-hope they stop soon...

This call is a complete scam. Anytime someone ask for your credit card information over the phone, and sounds like they are reading from a script you're in for a rip off. Do not fall for this call and definitely don't go past 1min on the phone with them. Ridiculous!! Please, nothing on the darn planet is free, not even the air.

P.S. If you call the number back it doesn't even ring.

This # just called me, he called me a n****, and then proceeded to call me several different black names..  he was rude, yelled at me and it was a very unpleasent experience!  you get nothing when you call the # back... unbeleivable, I am calling the police to find ut what this # belongs to.

they called me today and when i answered all the automated thing said was goodbye. i called back and all it said again was goodbye. has any one else had this. I didn't hear anything about a free trip or magazines or anything. does anyone know what that means?

they call and leave no message at least once a day alwasy asking for francisco!? they hang up when i ask for more information. i think they are a credit company

Scam. They got my families hopes up and i was on to the scam!

This a scam and they are rude...report them to FCC.

They called my daughters phone.  She is a minor.  The guy started to ask my daughter if she was the sister of my son that's when she gave me the phone.  The guy proceded to say that we ordered some kind of magazines.  I told him that I had no idea what he was talking about because my son or I did not order any magazines and that he was calling a minors phone number and to stop. I also told him that he had the wrong phone number.  That's when he said that my son won a trip.  The guy had the balls to ask for my sons phone number.  I told him I don't know who you are and what this about and that I would not give him the number.  Then more LIES started from him.  He said that if can't get a contact with my son then his visa would be canceled.  The thing is my son does not have a visa card.  I asked him nicely to stop calling my daughter phone and he got rude, so I told him I would report him to the police and the FCC. I checked the phone number and it came up with "We Travel Trip". I called my cell company and BLOCKED themIts a SCAM and RIP OFF.   BEWARE

I got a phone call today from 727-210-6876. However mine is unlike the other post I have read. I clean houses and was at work and had my cell phone in my pocket. I heard this loud ding. It was so loud it startled me and I  about fell off the stool I was sitting on dusting. It was so loud that my customer who was talking on his home phone in his office a couple of rooms away from me, thought it was his door bell and went to answer his door. I told him it was my phone and looked, it said I had a missed call... but my phone had never rang and that is not the sound I have for missed calls. I did not recognize the number and no message was left. Since it was so weird I decided to call the number to see who it was and what this was all about. The line never rang on the other end but a computer voice answered and said Good-Bye. It freaked me out like some kind of horror movie. So I shut my phone off until I could come home to check it out on line and see what I could find out about this number. Suppose I was a little paranoid, but I never had a call like that. Weird....!  But hey, it made for a little interesting day. Cleaning houses for 21 years gets a little boring!!!!

100% Scam artists! These types hooked my elderly mom over 8 years ago for overpriced magazine subscriptions and a buyer club.

There are a good number of these crooks, they change their name constantly and share phone number lists, call five or more times a month. Be it mag. subs. or credit card interest reduction offers, warranties, etc.

I keep getting calls from this number.  Have NEVER called/subscribed to anything with them !!!!   Apparently is Tour America in Clearwater Fla.  according to other complaints.  I am on DO NOT CALL list------ineffective.  How do they get a PREPAID cell number ???? my # is prepaid.    I want this to STOP!!!  No Messages left.

This company first called me when I was in high school and therefore not as intelligent about scammers. So I did the one year subscription and now that they have my number they continued something a few years back and I told them to stop all things. They said that I would be charged an exorbitant amount of money and I told them that I was a college student and I didn't have funds for these things and that they needed to take me off the list right then; if they didn't, then I would be taking legal action. They said they took me off the list, but have recently started calling me again. I refuse to hear anything else from these people anymore...and now I'm just biding my time to get a new number.
