Calls my cell phone and hangs up and I call back and nobody answers.  This happened several times.

Yea, same thing happens to me.
I know it's a person doing it and not just a machine.
Usually they call and hang up when I say hello.
One time they were breathing into the phone and they didn't hang up until I said hello about 20 seconds into the call.

4 calls in one day!  a mystery about who it is.  i didn't sign up for anything.

I've been getting unwanted calls from this number for several days.  When?I answer, no one responds but this last time they left a voice mail, which was just what sounded like a female laughing and hanging up.

It's getting quite annoying as my phone is a bit old and needs a new battery, so phone calls drain it quite quickly.

Didn't give him much time but he said that he was from Publishers something, stated that we had been selected and won $1000 and then asked if i had a credit card.  I told him to hang on and hung up.

I am having the exact same problem.  They have called me numerous times and when I answer they hang up, leave no message and when I call the number it has a busy signal.  I would like them to stop but have no idea how.  I also have purchased books on Amazon - hopefully this did not originate through that order - that would be enough to make me stop using Amazon for sure.

I was just browsing through actually looking for this phone number and I was so shocked to see topics on this number already here. I only got two calls from this phone number before like a week ago and it was around the same time I was getting all of those New Jersey calls. I am pretty sure this one is from Florida. I have no idea who it is but it pretty much started around the same time as the 4 New Jersey numbers called me. I found out two of them but the other two keep harassing me and won't tell me it. I am kind of afraid to call this number because I thought that it could have been one of those other people that got a Florida number. I have no idea. So basically in the past 3 weeks. I have been getting calls from 3 unknown phone numbers and on top of that, I don't know anyone from Florida or New Jersey.

well what seems to be every day i get a call from this number and when i am in a class and get a call from a number that i dont know on a regular basis,my professor gets kinda mad its getting kinda creepy

I keep getting calls for a Heidi Kelley. No one has ever been here by that name. I keep telling them "DO NOT CALL BACK!"

Me too...727-849-1987...several calls the last few days, and no one on the line... comes up on the caller ID as Premier Mktg.

Same story for 727-849-1539...comes up on the caller ID as N. Amer Escapes.

727 is a Newport Richey Fla area code.

I recently filled out an online applicateion for a Countrywide Savings
account.  I don't know if that is connected or if my number was sold to telephone marketers.

Also last weekI  bought a Sony game component through Amazon and today I had 4 bogus Sony online gaming subscription pending charges of $29.99 each on my debit card.  I can't say if any of it is related but it's enough to make you wonder what's going on.

I am having the same problems.  With this number and a couple others from the 727 exchange.

I got calls from this number numerous times during the day and into the evening.  I would answer and no one would say anything.  I call the number back and got no one.
