Got a call today.  Okay, yeah, I just got Verizon to install FiOS so maybe the comments above are correct.  However, I usually don't answer calls from numbers I don't recognize so I wish they'd leave a message...  Got a call from the 7606 number as well today.

This is a call from Verizon to inform me that the service I requested has been completed.

My landline phone was knocked out by weather a couple of days ago.  I went online to the Verizon website and submitted a trouble ticket.  The tech came out today and fixed the problem -- it was in the pedestal down by the road.

This was an automated call telling me the problem was fixed and the ticket is now closed.  Gave me an 800 number to call if the problem is not fixed.

Didn't answer but pretty sure it's Verizon as mentioned before. They were installing new service today so it's probably a follow up survey call.

Calls me and leaves 1 second message. I call back and it says discnnecred

They've called my cell over last 2 days - but we DID just have Verizon out here so thanks to this site I will answer it the next time.  Their Rep. was excellent with both the work he did and his knowledge.

It's Verizon.  They are calling to ask about how their service rep was after an appointment to fix phone line.

It's Verizon.  I had my land line repaired today.  My caller ID even said Verizon plus the number.  It's nothing more than a 1 minute survey to rate how well the technician performed with my repair order.

732-448-7605 and 732-448-7606 both numbers called my cell phone several times on 5/15/12. Voicemail picks up but no message is left. Reverse look up states the call is from New Brunswick,NJ but is either unlisted or a cell phone.

If this is correct, and you want a completed survey, why isn't a message left for the customer?

If this is a verizon survey, as noted in a comment above, why don't they leave a message so that the customer can return the call to complete the survey?

Received a call from this number on my cellphone. The caller didn't leave a message.

Just got a call from this number and they left a voice mail but hung up. I called it back and it was a disconnected number. Then I found that this number calls a lot of people. So weird

The call is a follow up survey from Verizon Fios to rate your recent service tech.

Had new Verizon service installed. Next day started receiving these calls from 732-448-7605. Only one of the answered calls played the automated message. These calls violate federal law and you should file complaints (as I just have) with the State Attorney General's Office, the Better Business Bureau, NJ Board of Public Utilities and the FCC. Perhaps if enough complaints get lodged against Verizon some official might actually stand up and do their job and force Verizon to obey the law and respect their customers. Automated phone dialing systems are required to leave an understandable identification of the calling company. Further automated dialing system are not allowed to disguise, hide, falsely claim, or misrepresent the status of a number and must provide an alternate contact number when dialing into the number that may be displayed on a caller identification system. Verizon does not identify their company and falsely represents the number as not in service when dialing into this number. Lastly, automated calling systems are limited to a maximum of 1 call per day and no more than 4 calls in a single week. I've already received 3 calls today alone.

someone from this number has called my cell at least 4 times in less than 1 day.
All voicemails are 1 second: "click" nothing.  I tried to call back, but the message tells me the number has been disconnected.

I got a call from this number 2 days in a row. Same, I didnt pick up and they didnt leave a message.

Got a call today on my cell and did not answer since I didn't recognize the #. No voice mail left.

Hung up on my answering machine.

Keeps calling my cell, I never answer either nor do they leave a voicemail. When you call it back, a recording says it's a disconnected number?? Figure that one out!
