Whoever it is came to my door.  I was working in the backyard.  They left a note on the door that reads: "Hi, sorry we missed you. Please contact us.  It's important.  Ask for Dean or Matthew at 760-453-4845."

I got a call from this company stating that I was being sued and that I needed to call them back otherwise there was going to be an officer that was going to show up at my door

These guys are MORONS! The caller ID'd himself as "John Williams", an alias if I ever heard one judging by his non-American accent, saying he's a lawyer and needed to talk to Kim Michele. I told the idiot he's calling a cell phone; a Kim Michele has never had this number and to stop calling as this is harassment. I hung up on him. The fool called me right back and told me to stop being rude and put Kim Michele on the phone. I screamed at the idiot to stop calling! He said he'd ruin Kim Michele's credit if I didn't put her on the phone. I hung up.

So this group of collectors has been calling me - A WRONG NUMBER - for months asking for a Kim Michele. In the past I've politely told the caller he had the wrong number and hang up. Now, I patiently get the caller's name & phone # & then start screaming at them. Today the idiot calls; I get his info; why he's calling; and then I let him have it verbally and then hang up. Today "John Williams" called me right back; told me to stop being rude and put Kim Michele on the phone. He told me if I didn't put Kim Michele on the phone he would destroy her credit.

The way I look at it is ....  If these idiots can't even dial a correct phone number how can they destroy anyone's credit let alone wipe their own butts.

Oh my goodness!  I have been receiving these calls at my workplace, I work for the Government.  I fortunelly have a Union President helping me get rid of these calls.. I thought I was the only one!  I am receiving the same messages!

They are back again.  I have received 2 calls today alone.  Back in October, 2010, I answered my cell phone when they called and had a 20 minute argument with a man who had a middle eastern accent but an American name.  He kept telling me, I would be arrested the following day, blah, blah, blah.  After I would not give him any information because he refused to tell me what company he was with, who exactly it was I owed, etc. and that I needed to have my "attorney on record" call him, I said to him, no need to have my attorney call as I am an attorney and will do whatever is necessary to stop these people from harrasing people.  He then hung up on me never to be heard from again until today.  BTY, I am not an attorney just a regular person like everyone else.

These scum bags call me at work and its pretty embarrasing. They call my cell also, Then I call back and harrass them.  I told them I  called the FBI and they lay off for a week then they call back with a different number.   They are setting themselves to get caught. keep calling them.

When we turn that area in to glass.  The calls will stop.

I have been receiving calls from them all day today.  When I hung up they called my BOSS!!!  Fortunately I have worked at a law firm for over 22 years so I knew they were up to something, but it is still very unnerving to get calls like that.  When I demanded they give me a phone # to call, they gave me 760-453-0486 and I asked who should I ask for.  When the guy tells me anyone can help me, I said "oh, so you're calling me from a boiler room?"  He hung up.  Haven't heard from anyone since.  I am notifying all my friends that if they get any calls from people requesting information about me to hang up and let me know.

it's also funny telling them you're calling from your local police dept.  they start to scramble and don't know how to respond

I recieved the same thing from this number.  I've called them back all day long, anytime I had a spare minute and keep asking them professional questions, such as their address, supervisor's name, what kind of work they deal with and it gets them quite mad...I've even posted their number on my facebook page, hoping my friends will take up the cause...they harrass people, why not tie up their phone lines harrassing them back,...

I have also filed a complaint with the IC3.gov, and the CA Attorney General, along with my local police department.

My Husband got a call from this same number over and over , Stating that he had taken out a loan and never payed back (which never happened). Harrassing calls saying that he was going to be dragged to jail if he did not resolve this matter NOW! hahaha, I put this number into google and up popped this website....now we have turned the tables and now we are calling them!!! Needless to say they do not like us very much. Also we have contacted our local law enforcement and FBI, not that I am confident that anything will come of it, but this is just plain rediculous......

The reason i am responding to this entry is because the CA Law Group stated that I needed to sign a promissory note and give my credit card information over the phone. Thanks to my daughter's computer expertise she was able to Google the phone number that was given to me by CA Law Group and that is when I found out that this is a scam. I also dailed the number that the call came from, which is, #1-916-395-0000. I received a message that this number is not in service.

This company is not legitimate so please do not give them any of your personal information.

I received the same call, last night and I called my bank and had my banking info changed, and I called the local and state police, to file a report, I saved the voice mail that they left me, this is a huge scam, do not give out any info to them.

This same group called about my husband so we called the FTC. They stoped calling for three weeks but then today they stared calling again so I called the FTC again. I really hope they stop calling it is really getting on my last nerves. I recomend everyone that get a call from these people call the FTC and to put a fraud alert on your social security number.

I'm glad I found this site.  Saved me thousands!  These people asked me to compose a promissory note to a Jenny Wilson stating that I authorize a charge to a credit card that I designate (providing all of the details of course) in order to resolve this collection matter.  They also ask for a clause stating that I will not dispute the transaction along with copies of my driver's license, social security card, etc.

I received a call today from this number as well.  They had a great deal of personal information and threatened me with a law suit, fines totaling over $8000, possible arrest, etc.  The call was from CA Law Group and they wanted me to fax information to 818-581-4117.

I received a call from the # listed above I was so disturbed I left my job and came home to try and sort out the issue. I did a bit of investigating that is how I became aware of this website...Something needs to be done to shut these people down.Does anybody know what/where this Co is and who are they??

I got back to back calls from this #.  5 within 5 min.  Finally I answered and they said they were some California Law group and that I am being sued, and if I don't take the time to speak with them they will be at my door and arrest me.
