I just recieved a call this morning from these people. This is the second time in over a year that I have been called by these people. The number that they use has changed. It is now 510-256-0352 out of the SF Bay area. The name that the guy used was David Smith....real orginal. Anyway, he stated that there was a law suit filed against me and that I had taken a pay day loan through pay day cash advance and that I owed $475.00 which included all the late fees. I had not used those people as I am active military it is against the law for me to get a pay day advance due to legislation passed in 2007-08. I was threatened that the sherrif would come and take me for questioning for three days and then on the fourth I'd go in front of the judge. Knowing the legal system as I do, I knew that there was nothing there as that's not how it works because we have to be officially served if there is a law suit against any one citizen by a court appointed server. I started to ask simple questions. Yes, he was rude and had a heavy accent. Nonetheless, he hung up and I tried calling back three times and was hung up on. This is a scam people. Don't fall for it.

I got a call about 4 missed calls yesterday from Morgan & Associates/U.S. National Bank, then my fiancé answered their last call and he was told I had committed financial fraud and that there were 3 charges against me and I would be arrested the following day because they would have a warrant for my arrest. My fiancé said when he tried to question the man that this sounded fishy he was very rude and ugly with him and even called him stupid so he cussed him out and hung up. I called the number back to ask what this is all about and put the phone on speaker and video taped the entire conversation!! They said you are(my full name) right? And your SS# is.... Right? I told them yes but I didn't understand these charges because I had never committed financial fraud, or any fraud for that matter. The caller said "you haven't been briefed on this matter?" I told them no so they connected me with PHONY ATTORNEY LEO FERNANDEZ. When I got on the phone with him I told him I wanted to know what this was all about, he said he would explain to me but I was to not interrupt him. He went on a 5 minute tangent that I had 3 different charges, tomorrow an arrest warrant would be in my name to have me picked up at my home address and investigators would be at myjob arrest. I asked what the fraud was for and they said a pay day loan that was deposited to ,y wells Fargo bank account. They also continued that I could settle with them for $8,000.00 (for a loan amount they said was a little over $350.00) I told them I would call back. I called my local police department and asked if there was any warrants for myself and that I didn't even get a payday loan that they were talking about, they immediately said it was a scam and said if there was ever a warrant for ,y arrest, the last thing they would do is call me and give me a heads up. I'm going to call them back today and confront them with this and video tape the conversation again and give it to whoever can do the most with it.

WOW!  It's 2012 and these b****eads are STILL at it.  I just got a call from MORGAN AND ASSOCIATES (wht?) 818-453-2572 he said his name was John Hudson, but he has a very HEAVY accent (which made wm wonder why he has an American name?) and they had my address, place of emplyment and wanted me to pay back a PAYDAY Loan (something that I never do) by my debit/credit card.  I asked for a case number, when did this occur, and they told me "I have to get the information from the judge".  I'm so glad I GOOGLED the FAKE law firm and I saw ALL of these comments from people since 2010.  They say that MOST criminals are DUMB, and that is so true.  Any GROWN person knows that if you are being sued you will have a "Summons of Complaint" and all kind of paperwork.  Also, I don't know of any loan place that deposits money in your bank account automatically?  Wth?  I pray these scammers get caught, hopefully many people were now affected.  I don't know how they got my information and place of employment, but please people be careful with Facebook, Linkedon and putting all of your personal information on-line.  The social media industry is really getting dangerous.  Please be careful.

ya i got the same thing a call from a kevin richarson at 5:30am from# 818-806-3361 claiming he is a lawyer from morgan and associates what lawyer opens his office at 5:30am he said his office is in mission hills ca then i caled back and asked how much i owed from the loan and he said he could not tell me an exact amount but it was from 300 to 500 dollors and that my superviser was going to fire me if i or my employer did not pay this loan and i said that funny you r really funny!!! and he said ok even funnier what is going to happend to u! and hung up the phone so i called the ftc and they confirmed its a fraud and not to give any information if this happens report it to877 382 4357

Hey yeah we juss got a kall frm them at a 909 503 0684 and 714 485 9593 and they said the same excat thing but now me and my boyfriend are prank kalling them constantly.... lol it makes them off to no end... they talk mess bak... its harlarious... everybdy should kall them bak and prank them... o and the 714 said there from cash net usa but there not I called cash net usa....

I just got a call from a 760-300-4011 and an indian speaking man identified himself as a Donald Brown with Morgan and Associates law firm and that a legal case has been open on me. He had called my cell phone twice and i didn't answer and the third time he called my work place. He said my name name and the last four numbers of my social. I got a call last month similar to this one saying and unfortunatly i fell for what now sounds like a scam and ened up paying them a debt that i probably did't owe. I do not want to fall for this again. What shall i do if they keep calling back or if another "law firm" calls again?

I HAVE BEEN HARASSED BY "MORGAN & ASSOCIATES LAW FIRM". THEY SOMEHOW HAD MY SOCIAL SECURITY # & TRIED TO PRESSURE ME INTO SETTLING A "PAYDAY LOAN" THROUGH SOME COMPANY I NEVER UTILIZED. THEY BACKED OFF WHEN I STARTED THROWING QUESTIONS BACK. HE IDENTIFIED HIMSELF FIRST AS A "JOHN MORGAN" THEN AS "LEO MORGAN". HE CLAIMED I COULD SEND IN THE MONEY & HE'D ASSIST ME WITH ANY FURTHER LEGAL MATTERS SUCH AS THIS. HE TRIED TO GET ME TO SEND A COPY OF MY LICENSE, SIGNED SIGNATURE, & BANK/DEBIT CARD INFO. HE MADE ME SO ANGRY THAT I SHUT HIM DOWN & HUNG UP ON HIM. I TRIED TO CALL BACK THIS EVENING AND THE NUMBER WAS DISCONNECTED...CLEAR SIGNS OF FRAUD/SCAM. THE NUMBER IS #760-300-4019

Received a call tonight from a 760-284-4677 California phone number, the lady said, "can I speak with "Anonymous" and I said, "who is this"", she then said, "is the last four digits of your social security number ----?  I said, what is this about?  She then said, "you have three criminal charges against your social security number!  I said, "what is this about"?  She said, "hold on let me transfer you to the attorney, I said, no, if you can not tell me what this is about, I do not do business over the phone and she hung up on me and said, pay the consequences!  If anybody knows what this is about please reply.

I just received the same call. I called back to 760-284-4677. As above. they did not speak english. They plan on showing up at my employment on Friday 12/7 with papers for federal banking regulations fraud. This needs to stop. I will do what ever I can to stop it.

well just got the call ... same schpeel Leo Fernandez ... never knew a paki named Leo Fernandez. Different number though 760-748-4422.  Morgan and Associates etc etc etc

A man with an extremely heavy Pakistani/Eastern Indian accent by the name of Leo Fernandez called me regarding a loan I supposedly took out in November. He said he was an attorney from Morgan & Associates and that there were three criminal charges against me for check fraud for obtaining a payday loan and not repaying it. He was very nasty and after checking into the whole deal, I found out it was a scam. I had never taken out the loan he stated and my account with the bank was not even opened at the time. He stated he would call my work and get me fired.

my caller was named william taylor. i had so much fun making fun of his accent - what a total loser!

I just got a call from this number also, a William Taylor, at work. Asked for an employee out on maternity leave. He didn't understand what that meant so I was suspicious. Good thing I looked into it.
Law Firms would not have somebody who can't speak english call.

I just received the same call from "Morgan & Associates"  This is the third time I have received such calls always using a slightly different number and name.  They are scams and I feel that it is coming from those Pay Day Loan companies.  Please be careful they have way to much information on us.  Dont confirm any information with them and make sure you get the name of the company they are claiming is sueing you.  This guy today would not tell me, just threaten me.  I am sure I will not be hearing from him again and I am sure that by this afternoon they will have a new number to call people with.

It is ironic to see some of the same information that was just given to me.  The difference is the guy gave a name of John Fernandez calling from Morgan & Associates.  What is even more interesting is that he called 1minute later on my 2nd cell phone and asked had he just spoke to me.  Also, he gave me what was considered to be a case number of c3845.  Please be careful people.

MAKE SURE ALL OF YOU ARE TELLING THEM THAT THEY ARE BEING INVESTIGATED AND YOU REPORTED THEM TO THE FBI FEDERAL TRADE COMMISIONS LOCAL POLICE AND ATTORNEY GENERAL.

This one showed up as caller 'unavailable', they called right back and they left a text msg, just with the call back #.
I do NOT answer my cell if you aren't in my system. Restricted and Blocked #'s don't even get a thought. I will run the # though as I did here.

718-217-3911 constantly calling and hanging up... We believe any last four digits such as 3917,3912,3913 are all affiliated with that number and are scam artist from st. albans ,queens, ny  BEWARE...

they are now trying to "save" you money on your land line. the company name is streadology. they have called me several times.  The web site they give me is different each time. the guy says that he is from India but in United States he goes by Gary. He couldn't tell me what the area code was that I needed to call to save money. He finally said '1" was really confused when I told him area codes are three digits. Also said that this number was a Houston area code

I keep getting the same call, but from Charles Cooper.  He kept asking me for info and I refused to give him any info over the phone.  he got very nasty and I just hung up on him.

Today I got a call from a guy with a heavy foreign accent.  This person said his name was Leo Fernandez, from the law firm of  Morgan and Assocates and that his telephone number was 760-582-0307.  He acted very strangely, tricking me and intimidating me, and I was alarmed to know he had my social security number, which he repeated.  He acted as though he was a secretary, or some other meaningless outboud caller,  then said he would put me on hold to get the senior attorney, pressed a number key to make a sound and then, came back on the phone saying he was the Senior Attorney.  He gave me his name and telephone number, as detailed above. He laboriously forced me to take down a file number, to seem official, while I heard a television in the background.  He refused to say who was doing this but began to yell and make accusations, and then said he'd "see me in Ruth's Chris Steakhouse" which is my former employer.

I just received a phone call today from Paul Jackson at  Morgan and Associates looking for my son saying he owed $422 for nonpayment of a payday cash loan and was being sued.  Had a very heavy Indian accent could barely understand him.  He threatened me that I should settle this now for my son  to avoid $5000 in court costs and 1-2 years in jail and of course I said no. I asked him many questions, he told me I was being rude!  I'm glad I thought to google Morgan and Assoc. and found all this info.  I have reported this to all the law enforcement agencies you listed.  Thanks for the info!
