who is this

This and another number from the GA area code have called me incessantly over the last three days! I refuse to anser the call and waste my time. That is another form of harrassment.

Got a call from 866-892-1464 while I was at work today. A woman named Cathryn Glenn told me I had been entered into the National Sweepstakes because I was a preffered customer of Mastercard/Visa... I don't have any credit cards!!! She told me that I had already won a 3 day/2 night vacation at any of the 88 hotels I picked and I would recieve 3 magazines free for 60 months if I bought a fourth and paid for it for 60 months at 3.75 dollars a week... (that would total around almost 1000 dollars!!!) They mysteriously already had my address too!!! I told her I was not interested and promptly hung up the phone.

They said they were from SMP and that I am entered in their sweepstakes for a BMW car and then try to sell me magazines but I was not interested.  Are they going to charge me if I didn't give them a credit card number, they wanted to know if I was a card holder of a credit card such as Master Card, Visa, etc.   Can you please get them to quit calling me?

Got a call from 678-450-9628 They told me I had been entered into some sweepstakes - I asked them where they got my number and they rambled off some answer about a magazine I bought with my credit card (I never have used my card to pay for a magazine) when I called the number back after about 20 rings it said I had reached the mailbox of 770.503.7433. The lady was very quick and demanding about the questions she asked - I told her I wasn't going to answer her questions and she said good luck in your drawing and hung up.

I recently added a line to my current plan and while the base phone has had no problem with spam calls, the new line has been BLOWN UP by this number and "UNRESTRICTED".  Calling back doesn't seem to be an option, but I will continue to investigate this...

So I just got this call from 770-503-7433 from this lady telling me about a sweepstakes, I have no idea how she got my name and number and then I get a call back ten minutes later from another lady, who doesn't even give me her name from 229-388-1513. This lady asks me for my credit card for magazines, I told her I would get back to her and she hung up immediately. I think we all must of did something online for them to get our info.

this number continues to call my cell and when i answer "hello", they simply hang up...  i did a little rack-diving and found that this "place" is a phony telemarketing co. based out of atlanta, the a.t.l. uh yay yay!

I got a call from this number as well. I pre screen calls on my cell phone and did not pick up. No message was left. I reported this number to http://www.fcc.gov/cgb/complaints.html and suggest others do as well if this continues.

I receive daily phone calls from this number and want to be removed from the calling list ASAP!!!!!!!!!!!

About a week to 10 days ago I saw an ad somewhere on the Internet for a $50 Chili's Restaurant Gift Card for completing a "Yes" or "No" Questionnaire.  The majority of the questions were geared towards, "Would you like more information concerning......?"  You click Yes or No.  If you click Yes, you fill out name, address and phone.  After clicking through nearly 20 or more of these ys or no questions from various vendors, I responded "Yes" to only 2 or 3.  Then, I finally just closed out of the questionnaire and never finished it.  After closing out it showed me that there were still about another 30 vendors with yes or no questions to be answered.  I closed it completely out anyway.  Within two days I started receiving calls from 001-701-837-0758, and 407-226-9657, and 207-989-6079, and 770-503-7433, and 616-980-2800, and 301-345-5383.  Each of these are calling 2-4 times per day.  I have not answered any of them. I was able to identify two of the numbers, one number (407-226-9657) is from Orlando Vacations and another (207-989-6079) is Cheap Travel.com.
I sent an email to Chili's Restaurants about the constant phone calls and received a very nice reply that this $50 Chili's Gift Card offer on the internet is bogus and not authorized by Chili's Restaurants.  Chili's has also placed a disclaimer on their web site to this effect.  
So, more than likely, all these calls we have all been getting are stemming from this Chili's Offer or similar offers like it somewhere on the Internet.

I got a call feom this number and I was shocked because the number they called was my cellphone. My cellphone is unlisted, worse they knew my name and address. They said I was a winner of some magazine sweepstakes but when I try to call back there is no answer.

I received a call from this number and it rang once and then hung up. I called it back and no answer. Googled the number and found this site. interesting stuff.

Damn spammers.  Left a garbled 2 second message on my cell.

i jux had a call from this number!!i answered and a woman picked up and i hang up becuz i cudnt talk!!i tried callin bak and nobody answered!!!sure they spammers!!!

I got a call from this number, did not answer, was wondering if it's one of those spam sweepstakes hotlines, looks like it is.

I'm 18 and don't even have a credit card and they keep calling me, so how they got my info. I have no idea.  Kinda sucks though.

Haha!  Weird!  I keep getting called by these guys too.  They've been calling pretty much every day for like 2 weeks and it's always when I'm at school or work so I can't ever answer it.  Maybe I should call them and tell them about this site!

oh and they also had my first name, i wonder how they got it and anyother information they have its scary i never ever sign any of those things online or anything how did they know it?! and my number?!

ya i just got a phone call from 770 503 7433 and they were saying they were from some sweepstaks thingy thats when i hung up but then decided to call back and tell them to not call me anymore and they wont pick up?! so its ok for them to solicit but not ok for someone to do it to them :-/
i even went online to see if they had a website or anything and there was nothing big full of crap

Just got a call from Nikki... as soon as I asked if someone called me she hung up.  Bi***... GA people need to find something better to do then random calling.

Got a call this morning around 11am from this number and someone named Letisha told me i own a trip and magazines, she had my address and told me her supervisor would call back. Ten minutes later i get a phone call from a woman who did not disclose her name but said she was from The Publishers. She had my name, address, & last 4 digits of my social and after that i was scared. I had asked which credit card company disclosed this information and she hung up. This is very fishy

Wednesday, September 26, 2007; I received a call from this number. As soon as I answered, they hung-up. I immediately called the number back. It rang and rang, but NO answer. Losers...I'll be using this number as April suggested (i.e., junk mail, spam mail, etc.). All those places where I can fill out a card with information, guess what number goes on the Phone number line?! Thanks unknown losers hope it works out for ya!

I received a call from this number saying I was entered in a sweepstakes for a 3 day vacation and i would receive magazines. She said she was from SMP southern magazine promotion. They can't charge me if I didn't give them a credit card number, right?

called and asked for ramona. I thought it was my masseuse who has a similar number. I hang up

I recived a call from this number on my cell phone and they said they were with the credit card rewards service or some such and that I had been entered into a sweepstakes and that I was going to win some magizines, and a 3 day 2 night vacation. The woman said she was going to set me up for the magizines and that if I set up with Rolling Stones I would be enterned in a second drawing for money. But the Magizine would cost me like 4 $ a week, I told her I was not going to pay for anything and she said "ok" then hung up.

I have an idea...I think I will write the number down use it in all those annoying spam emails I get, maybe use it in junk mail, too.  I think I will supply it to several auto dealership call lines.  I made the mistake of giving an auto dealership my phone number once, and they called numerous times a day until I blocked the number...I will give the number to them!!

recieved phone call today from this number on company cell phone. guy told me he wanted to give me some information about sweepstakes, oppurtunities, promotions, bunch of crap. i asked him how he got the number and he said i was entered into a contest probably by my credit card company.  called the credit card company and they said they do not give out that info.

Did not answer-spammer?
