However, it's still rather suspect. They have doctors that come to people's homes, mainly seniors, for which they take Medicare and private insurance which sounds like a business, not a charity.

According to the Secretary of State in Washington in 2005 the company had a revenue of $516,218 and only $113,464 of that went to program services. There are many non-profits that only spend a small portion of the money raised on actual charity and use the rest to pay themselves handsome salaries. I suspect that that's the case here. Apparently this company use a professional fundraising company to do their fundraising for them, called TeleService USA, Inc. It's most likely this company that is calling you and they are far from charitable or honest. In 2010 they raised $813,392. Of that only $150,107 went to charities. So, when you donate clothes or other items to this company 82% of the profits from the sale of your donation will go into the pockets of some fat cats at TeleServices USA. 18% will go to America's Disabled that likely only spend a small portion of that on anything that resembles charity. To sum it up, although legal this is not an honest company. Unless you want to help some rich people get richer don't donate anything to this company. Donate it to Amvets or the Salvation Army instead.

Always check on any organization before you donate! Not all charities are legit!

Where does the money from all the donations they call people day in and day out for go? This does not appear to be a free service. I suspect that this is one of the many registered non-profits where the owners pay themselves handsome salaries with the donations they raise.

These people have been calling frequently for months. It says "Clothes4Charity" on the caller ID and it appears to coming from a call center which, to me, is a clue that this is not a true non-profit charity. Other charities that call for donations, like Amvets, use volunteers who call from their homes since having a call center would take too much from their income that could go to actual charity.
The person calling says that they will have a truck in my area soon and wonders if we have anything to donate. They have trucks in my area suspiciously often.
When they called yesterday I asked the lady to give me some more info about their charity and she gave me a web address, www.physicianshomevisit.com, which appears to be a for profit company that provides in-home visits from doctors. The whole thing seems less than legit to me and I would not recommend that anyone give any kind of donations to these people.

They only allow 3 rings before hanging up, obviously not leaving a message, just harassing.

They have called every day several times a day and every night.  I never answer.  Wish my phone could block, but it on this call it won't for some reason.

They keep calling ceaselessly.

They call in spurts, day and night, have been for months, never leave a message.  I'm on Do Not Call list & have reported them, to no avail. I have blocked their number.  All I can do.

I have gotten calls 3 days in a row this week, and 3 calls today.  I have Andorid and put this number in my Reject List, so my phone doesn't even ring.  I can tell by the log that they called.

Repeat calls, sometimes 3/day. Sometimes a person, most times no msg. Last time I told "person" to stop harassing/repeat/duplicate calls. She dropped F-bomb, hung up, then redialed & left annoying loud tone on answer machine (lasted up to a minute). I'm an audio engineer. For fun on a snowy housebound day, I recorded the tone. Will send mp3 file to whoever their corporate contact is (supposedly Clothing for America's Disabled). Also will send to BBB Northern IL. Another copy to local newspaper for article I'll submit--"Why Would I Contribute to This So-Called Charity?" Also will send to Natl DoNotCall Registry, as my number is listed. It's a landline located in Ellwood Park, IL. I might even fork over $9.95 for name and address if I REALLY get bored--or it keeps snowing;;)). Then I'll block it. Unfortunate blemish in name of our military service people.

Long story short. They pick up donations at my home- so they are legit.  I've asked them to call only once a month as they are in my area weekly..

OMG I prayed and prayed for this evil entity to stop calling me 4 times a day! Then with a great POOOF a googly eyeballed guy with dangly noodle legs, came out of nowhere. He floated to my phone, sat on it with a great PLOP! and with that, 773-394-7474 was never heard from again ..Praise the Lord!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This caller is calling several times a week to my home. I don't recognize the number, so I don't pick up. I consider this a nuisance call.

I just did a "reverse lookup."  It is Charity Clothing.

I am going to track these people down and cut off all of their nutsacks if they call me one more time.

I've received several calls from this number.  I don't pickup the call when I don't recognize the number.  They don't leave a message.  ANNOYING!!!

Called again today. No message, but I quickly recognized the caller ID. They're now listed on my mobile phone as numbers to be blocked, using a recently installed app.

Just because you might be a charity, if they are, does not make you exempt from harassment and probably other things.  I?m sure harassment can be proven by the number of phone calls to each number.

You can block calls from a land line by the newer phones today.  I have a Panasonic KX-TG9331 Series a little older model but I have a feature on the phone to block up to 20 phone numbers.  Hope this helps.

This darn number calls me about 5 times a day from early AM to late in the PM. I just wish they'd leave a message. I dont answer if I cant identify the numbet! STOP CALLING ME!!!!!!!

They call here. I believe that it is a Catholic charity. I will program the number into my Digitone box to permanently squash it.

The caller ID comes up as "Charity C" and no one ever leaves a message. They call 3 or more times a day, and now have started calling as early as 8am and as late as after 9pm. I have blocked them using our phone settings but would love to get rid of them completely.

I just tried calling them from a blocked number and, big surprise, they don;t accept calls from blocked numbers.  So, just for fun, I field a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau.  Only took about 3 minutes online.  I doubt it will do anything, but if they get enough complaints from BBB, then they may need to change their practices.
