I am also irritated by the phone calls, and of course I am on the do not call list, refiled again just a few months ago, as I learned they purge the files about every 6 months. BUT I DO NOT APPRECIATE THE REPLY FROM SHAM ABOUT THE POLICE. I APPRECIATE WHAT THEY DO TO KEEP PEOPLE LIKE SHAM UNDER CHECK AND THE PUBLIC SAFE.

Received a call from this number.  Asked for the lady of the house. Pretended he couldn't hear me and said he's call back at a better time.  Came up Miami.  Fraternal order of Police.  Guess when you don't answer locally they try out of area numbers.  Don't answer it.

Sham is right, now I recall those Miami calls. They hung up on me tonight (again). I don't want to say Phuck the police, but leave me alone!!! I'd call block these dicks in a minute if my cable phone provider could. I did tell them to loose my number last month when a person answered obviously not worked. Next time someone answers I'll say this is a new number and Phuck Off.

Received a call from 786 358 5588.  It came in as unknown.  I called it back and received a recorded greeting from the Florida Fraternal Order of Police.  I only get calls from them when they want a donation so I'm guessing that hasn't changed.

I donated once to the FOP. Since then, they have called at 8 in the morning and at 9 at night for years. I ask them politely to take my name off their calling list, but they wont do it.

Be forewarned, if you contribute to the FOP, they will hound you forever, like a collection agency, and that's if you send them money. I hate to think what happens if you pledge and don't send them money. I assume they shake you down in person.

Fla FOP FNDN is a scam.  They are relentless.   Calling me every couple of days now, even though I don't pick up.  I never contributed to them or even said I would.  Their other numbers are 786 358-5581, 5573, 5543.

Portfolio Recovery Associates, (portfolio r)  and any number of fake names they use has already been cited by Office of Attorney General in various states and continues to be investigated.

This is ostensibly a debt collection agency however they harass, threaten and attempt to wrongfully a extort payments from anyone whose number they happen to start (and never stop) dialing.  You do not need to be or ever have been in debt. Even if you are or were, this company has no legal right to be contacting you.

Research points to affiliations with terrorist organizations and criminals who attempt to make money as well as undermine U.S. citizens and economy.

They have a clear goal, attacking and demoralizing our citizens. Clarify yours and protect yourself and as requested by State Attorney General Offices, contact these offices and report the harrassment.

Everyday I have a call from this number. It is getting a little irritating.  If they want you to donate, why don't they leave a message?

This number calls me about 2 times a day...never leaves a message. FL FOR FNDN is only name that shows on caller id. How can i stop this. I am on the do not call list.

got a call this afternoon from this number.  I am on the "do not call list"  why are they calling my number.  I don't donate to any charity that does not receive 95% of the proceeds.  Ask them how much
actually goes to the FOP. You will be surprised at how little they get!

This phone number is calling to do fund raising for the Florida State Fraternal Order of Police. I have called the number.  It directs you to a customer service department that can answer questions, help you donate, or anything else related to the FOP. Also, there?s information on floridastatefop.org, you can contact them there with any questions or requests.
The FOP is doing a lot of really great things for Florida police officers and the people that call are trying to help them raise money so they can do even more good.

Knew my name, wanted to know if I thought the police were important, my reply was "what?" he said since I couldn't hear him, would call me back later.

The phone number is unregistered in Miami.  Sounds suspicious for a police organization...

Our answering machine picks up and they hang up.

We have a Panasonic phone, part number KX-TGA931T. I just open the call list, find the number, and hit BLOCK.  All done.

Called but left only a dial tone on our answering machine.  Jerks.

This number called and when I answered he asked for me by name. When I said this is he hung up!

The caller ID says 786-358-5588 FL FOR FNDN.  Here's what's weird.  A guy starts talking...he sounds real.  I start to interact with him then he starts acting like a computer.  I only caught on that this was a computer after I said, "place me on your do not call list" and the programming went haywire.

Did not answer as I did not recognize the number. Did not leave a message on answering machine.

Phone rang twice then hung up. Did not leave message. When I googled "Fl FOP FNDN", it camae back with:

I don't answer unidentified calls. Found online that this is fundraiser for FOP.

Apparently DO NOT CALL list does not work.

Got the same call this morning. If T's caller ID has, FL FOP, that is the Fraternal order of Police.
