This number was also used in same scam on 01-15-14 with our Portland General Electric customers in Portland, OR. If this number was used please document when call came in and have law enforcement or your utility company call me so we can track this group who are calling from overseas. Also Got the "your electrical meter needs to be changed out by law" you need to pay a deposit so they can put in the new one. Mysteriously got disconnected. Called the real electric co. and they said to file a police report.

Called and said the power company (that we use in our state) and overdue bill and power would be shut off in 20 mins. DO NOT BELIEVE THEM! Call the cops and report this now.

They also called us saying power will be shut off in 30-45 min. Unless we paid our outstanding balance due. They claimed to be California Edison. They would not leave any info and we explain to them that we knew they were scamming us. As soon as we said that they hung up. They've called a couple times. We knew they were fake cause we had just paid the bill.

This number called our business, but called us by our street address and said that we are due to have our Mid American power turned off. When I asked for their contact name and number, they hung up on me. I personally pay the bill so I knew immediately it was a scam.
