compass bank collections dept. calling anybody and everybody trying to find a turkey that owes em money. they called me because i have the same last name. go figure!!! they use the 800 number to cover for their real number. probably works sometimes and when you call back, the 800 number goes to customer service.

I didn't get a message from the caller, but when I dialed the number back, I reached BBVA Compass. I don't have any Compass bank accounts. I have no idea why they would call me.

I have accounts with compass also and was expecting a call from them, but I was on the other line with my wife and they didn't leave a message. When I called the number back, all I received was a loud beeping noise.
Annoying.

It is Compass Bank (I have accounts there) 1-800-COMPASS (800-266-7277).
