OK, I dialed *67 to block Called ID and called it. I connected to an automatic phone system identifing itself as "Bank of America" giving choices to press 1 to check account balances 2,3 and so on. The menu kept repeating so, I pressed one and a recorded voice asked my name. I gave a fake name and it said I'd be connected to a representative. I was connected to a persons voicemail. The system was quite Sophisticated but, not real. I checked the genuine "Bank of America" website for customer service phone numbers and this ones not listed...go figure. I think their scam is that they are looking for suckers to give them account and personal info to steal cash, credit, identity from us!

Dito...seems I recieved the same call saying we won $310,000.00! Good thing we are smart enough to check it out first...wonder what their scam is? I can't believe there are people that fall for these scams from over seas and wire money to claim there so-called winnings!

Got several calls today from 800-314-5090 claiming to be Bank of America and that we had been identified as winners of $310,000 in a Publisher's Clearing House sweepstakes.  
Tried the PCH fraud number (800-392-4190) but it was after business hours.  These criminals should not be able to get US phone numbers and we citizens need a means that these numbers can at least be shut down.

i got called  twice today ! keeps telling me ive  won  something   from Bank of america and publishers clearing house!  didnt call back either time !

Got three messages from this number, so today I called it. It had Bank of America as it's answering name, and gave a little spill. Then said, "Please give us your name so we will know how to transfer your call." How is knowing my name going to help you know how to transfer my call? I hung up.

Call blocking phones are very inexpensive $40-$60 and they come with, at least, one wireless handset.  Very, very convenient.

I have had the same home number and the same business phone number for over 15 years and my home and my business lines (both published) seem to be on every call list imaginable.  I bought a Panasonic call blocking phone for my home and I bought a Uniden call blocking telephone for my business.

NO MORE PROBLEMS WITH TELEMARKETERS.   THEY CAN?T GET THROUGH!

We can stop these telemarketers IF we all buy a call blocking phone.

NOTHING ELSE WILL STOP THESE TELEMARKETERS!

I got a message on my answering machine saying that I won 310,000 dollars from Publishers Clearing House. Said to call 800-314-5090 to claim. I know it's a scam because Publishers Clearing House does not notify by phone; it's either by mail or in person. I did some research.

A lady named ?? Miller, calling from BofA said I had a "certified cashier's check waiting for me" and to call 800-314-5090 to collect.  Call came in at 0930 PDT.  Sounds fishy to me!

A lady, speaking very fast, told me I had won a million dollars from the Bank of America, and to call 800-314-3490 within an hour.  Caller ID said she called from 800-314-5090.  Confusing?  I did nothing!

I just received this call as well stating I won $310,000 from an entry I made at Publisher Clearing House.  He said that I would have to make a meeting in Washington DC to claim the money, I said I couldn't and he said that I have to.  The voice was cutting in and out and the way he talked made me suspicious.  I asked how I can verify this is not a scam and he said to call the Better Business Bureau to verify that BOA is a legitimate company.  I asked to speak with someone else and he said to hold to transfer and no one returned to complete my call.

I received a call from this number 1-800-314-5090 stating that I had one 2 Million dollars and to please call 1-800-314-5090 to verify.  I did and it was from Bank Of America - Your bank of Opportunities- a scratchy voice came on and said "How can I help you? It repeated itself and then when I started speaking into the recording, the phone was disconnected from their end.
