no message and just phone rings

They called twice just today, once in the morning where they just hung up. Once at 5:30 pm, and some guy answers! I lied when he said he was looking for me and he just asked when was the right time to call. Do you think I should call the company?

Call it back from a land line to save your minutes, press 1 for english, press 1 again to have your self removed from call list, a recording will repeat the number you have called from, press two for INCORRECT number, and then enter the number you wished to have removed

I've been getting this call for the past few days. They have been calling me at least 3 times a day. I took the risk and answered the call yesterday and it just hung up.

I called them back and there was an automated service that allowed me to put my phone number on the do not call list.

Let's hope the calls stop.

Calls me several times a day at different times - morning, afternoon, and evening. I never pick up because no one I know or care to talk to calls from a 800 number.

I save the number as IGNORE ME and then I reject the call every time.

I'm with Fido pay-as-you-go.

These people have called me everyday, around dinner as well. I have answered it & it just goes immediately to what sounds like v/m. They've just called again at 8:00 p.m. So any ideas of how to stop this annoying pestilence?

Called me 5 times yesterday. I guess if you don't pick up they will keep trying.

This is a way telemarketing companys finds out the best time to call people. It is a computer program that dials random numbers at random times of the day. As soon as someone picks up it records the time and day and tells the telemarking company when they should be calling in that area. for example..people living in Northern Ontario might be more likely to answer around 530pm and people in Southern Ontario might be most likely to answer around 630pm.
