Fax with "hand written notes" like its from a friend telling you about a Cancun 6 day All-inclusive vacation for $300/person. CRAP. I'm so tired of these kind of faxes everyday.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS ORGANIZATION!!!  IT'S BAD NEWS!!!  If you go to www.wipo.int/amc/en/domains/decisions/html/2007/d2007-1273.html you will find this company went through legal issues from using the name pricelinecancun.com.  I've been told they are now called Cancun Reservation Center.  I'm currently in the process of trying to get some, if not all, of my money back.  What a nightmare and a huge scam.

Yup!  This is a total SCAM.  Don't even try this.  Unfortunately, my husband booked since the notice came through his work but now we are filing complaints with the better business bureau of central florida and consumer reports.  They should be shut down!!!!!

Booked through yourcancunvacation.com. STAY AWAY!!!!!! The fax came through my work and was posted by a local receptionist, so we tried them thinking our company must have knew of them. Were given the website to go on and pick our resort. They wanted like three months in advance. And even with that there was NOTHING available. The only ones left had horrible reviews on line. When we did finally find one in Cozumel, it took forever to get through all the additional charges (i.e. peak season, and taxes). Shortly after booking our non-refundable airfare, the resort sent us a confirmation email to confirm all of our information. We were all in the 26 year old age range. The email had us one of us at 34. Turns out the resort requires someone to sit at a presentation and they have to be a certain age to watch. So when I responded, telling the resort our true ages, they cancelled our reservation. My representitive at Yourcancunvacations (Remy) told us she would start working on a refund. It's been two months and still nothing. Numerous calls to managers have come up up empty, and I fear we waited too long for our credit card to be able to do anything. Don't take a chance. We usually book through AppleVacations and have had wonderful luck. We should have known that $299 a person was too good to be true. Pay the xtra money and you won't be disappointed.

Just to set the record straight, I own the www.esktravelsave.com site and I just want everyone to know that reprinted portions of the article which we had received by fax. I have not affililated with the one who are faxing out the information. I am associated with a full service Travel Agency (Prestige) and also sell Coastal Vacation Packages. As far as saving people money on Travel I can, and with the Coastal Vacation Packages can provide people with great travel opportunities and also provide businesses with to provide ways to increase their sells by giving away 3 day 2 night complimentary vacations for $6.95 to thousands of locations or give away a cruise for $20 to $30 day depending on the number of days.Like the site says I can save people on their travel needs!!!

Addendum.  I too did a search for the article and came up with www.esktravelsave.com/page/1235663.  However, when clicking on the link.  A message that the server could not be found appears.

Received the fax August 9, 2007 and called the number, 1-800-417-3710.  I asked the agent to be removed from the fax distribution list.  She asked "what is the fax number you would like removed".  I told her.  She said she would take care of it.  Received the fax again today with the same number shown.  I called the number and asked the agent to be removed from a fax distribution list.  The agent said they do not have a fax distribution list.  He also said it was probably a friend who wrote the note.  There is no return fax number printed on the fax.  I even printed a journal of received faxes and no number printed on that report either.

The August 22, 2007 feedback from Courney lists several companies and numbers, the last being a fax number.  I tried to fax the article to the number but it just keeps ringing.

Boy was I a dumb a$$, I actually purchased one of these packages before checking the company out. I have contacted usa Today and reported the fradulent add and their legal dept called me back for more info. I also called priceline.com and told them that their name was being used by another company. I am working on getting my money back and with all this info and the tape recordings I have of my phone calls placed to them I should be able to get my money back if my credit card company will stand behind me.

Getting same faxes - different call back number.  My fax lists a 800-418-9051 call back.

From the list of tollfree numbers provided above, and a little diggin on this end, it looks like this company uses 5 or more long-distance companies for their toll free call back traffic.  Most all were no-name companies (probably less likely to ask questions).

I sent a letter to one company along with a copy of my fax asking them to stop or drop the customer.

Hello

We have been having trouble with this so called company. They wont stop faxing the company where I work. The same fax with the USA today article. I called the 1-800-417-2496 number one day, got an old lady and she gave me this fax no. 1-817-852-3067. I then faxed them back, asking them not to fax us again. That was on Aug 9, today the dreaded fax came again. I called again and asked for a fax no. I was told they dont have a fax. After I told them I had just received a fax from them, they very rudely stated that the fax was not from them. I again asked for their fax no. the guy asked me "Why""~!!! So you can fax us back???" I answered, "Well, yes." he then proceeded to tell me how immature I was. HA! Im not trying to be immature. I am writing on the fax, asking them to remove our number from their fax list.

But as it appears they are not doing things in a legal manner, I guess it hardly matters to them. So again here is there fax no. 1-817-852-3067.

We got a faxed "copy" of report in USA Today on Cancun vacation with hand-written note.
No number to call to unsubscribe from these faxes. Just the toll free number to make reservations.
A waste of our time and paper.

I too received a fax from them. I went to Google and searched the phone number. They have been reported to the BBB, and apparently have been cited a couple of citations. When I scrolled down the page, they had a list of phone numbers and a fax number. The company is based out of FL and go by various names. Below are some of the names and phone numbers.

Just got the fax described wih the USA TODAY thing. Date of paper is Tuesday August 7th, i'm guessing they change this? I recieved fax on 8/21 at 9:13am. I used to sell similar packages in florida like 10 yrs ago, always lots of hidden fees, if they send anything out at all! You would be amazed how many people buy these.

My wife called these people to politely ask to be removed from their calling list. Some cowardly a***ole hung up on her, so she called back. She actually spoke to someone and explained that if they didn't want to comply with removing the number she would report them to the proper authorities.

I am contemplating bombarding their phones with a demon dialer to tie-up their incoming phone calls. I think I can make sure they can't even get the phones free for a long enough period to hustle their Cancun vacations. Its great they provide the 1-800 number.

Just received this fax too.  Hand written Note:  "I know you're going on a trip this year, thought you'd be interested.  Bottom- Call 1-800-419-5412 ask about Cancun 6 day All-Inclusive for $300/person."  Looks suspect so I googled the number.  No return number or company name.  I was just about to call, though I couldn't imagine who it came from.  "Human Resources" also sends these everyday.  "Last chance" comes as well.  I called Human Resources flyer and there are so many hidden fees that you'd come out cheaper buying a boat and sailing there!

Constant garbage, spamming, scamming faxes from these vermin. Will the Justice Department please find these criminals, arrest them, and put them in prison where they belong for a long time?

travel scam company from Mexico.  They used to send faxblasts in the form of a company wide memo from "Human Resources".

It's not Priceline, though they claim it when you call them.

I actually called them to get their company name and address, what they gave me was PriceLine, Ab.xpul #3, Suite 586, Cancun 77509, which is nothing like any address I've seen for Cancun before.  Also, they claim these faxes are not from them, yeah right.
