Recorded message asking me to call this number.

they keep calling saying i owe a phone bill????
i have no shuch thing!!

I just bought a track phone a few days ago. Everyday without fail I get a call from this #. It started before I called family and friends to give them my #. It is more then just annoying!

This collection agency for AT&T/Bellsouth uses automated harassment techniques. They call everyday without fail only to hang up on whomever answers. There is no effort made to speak with me at all. I owe nothing and pay all my bills ON TIME!!!

you can sue them if they call after you have told them not to.

They call me too, but how did they get our number?

I keep getting calls on my cell phone from these people about some hardware store that owes AT&T money.  I've called AT&T and I've called them and they cannot tell me what the debt is and why they are calling me.  I don't own a hardware store and I don't even live in the same town as the hardware store.  This is getting me really mad.

I am receiving a call at least once a day to my cell phone asking for someone I do not know.
It is irritating and unacceptable.  They say to call this 800-530-3924 if I am this person.  I am
not so I have been trying to track down the owner of the number since I am not them.  Now I see
it is a corporate error.  I think I will ask my service provider to block their calls.

It is a collection agency for AT&T/Bellsouth and other telecom companies.

After seeing the reference here to AT&T Collections I decided to call the number -- I don't owe AT&T anything, and I may as well make sure they know that.  The first time I called I got the same response described by others here:  ring, ring, ring, no answer.  I thought this was really weird so I hung up and tried again.  This time I got a near immediate answer.  It was indeed AT&T/Bell South, though they made no mention of collections.  They also couldn't find any reason I had been called in the first place.  The person I talked to was quite pleasant, and ended up guessing that someone had placed a call to the wrong account number.

So, if you do want to call these people I recommend you hang up after a few unanswered rings and try again.  I think their answering system is flaky.  You'd expect a phone company to do better, eh?

Received a call from this number stating they were a collection agency calling to collect for AT&T.  Discovered that they used three different numbers which are:  800-530-3924, 800-530-3916 and 800-530-2906.

Does anyone know what this number is related to or what company is involved? We continue to get calls asking to contact a Ms. Evans. Upon calling there is no responce or way to leave a message which would be to "kiss my ###"

They call everyday and harass me even though I have told them not to call here.

I am so sick and tired of running to the phone for these harrassing calls. I call them that because no one is on the phone, it rings and rings then I pick up to tell them to take my name off the list but nothing is there. Why can one not do anything about this?! I cannot understand that we have to let ourselves be treated like this.
