Jason Kennedy was RUDE, Sarcastic and insensitive to my Mom while she was trying to work with them over the phone. I sat in and heard him talk to her- he was smirking and making jokes as my Mom who is a Grandmother- tells her story and tries to work with them. Kennedy is a BAD MAN ! His "boss" KLEIN, was NO HELP and beat around the bush.. THIS COMPANY IS BS!

A Mr. Wesley called last night, sounding very business like and demanding that we contact him before a specific time frame/date or else.

Received a call from CI & Associates, a Mr. Rapples (?), saying that I am the contact person for _____________, and that the named person must call him by cob 8/26 about a Notice of Intent.  Mind you, I am certain that the caller was lying.  The only person I know of who has even a similar name is the person who bought my house five years ago.  It was an arms-length transaction.  I moved to a different city and do not hold the mortgage.  I wouldn't know the person if I bumped into him on the street.

I repeatedly have received calls from this number for people who do not live here. I have called them back telling them to not call this number because the person they are looking for does not live here - received rudeness and they hung up. By the way, my credit score is over 800, not hardly debt colector material and my name is not Tia!

I called them back and they are from creditor's interchange

they called and wanted a call back by a noon. they also called another number of a relative and gave them all my person information about what was going on. they a of a very very low standard of the human race.

Left a message. Said they were a law office.  Something about "forced court recovery" gave a case number with my local courthouse courthouse. Said he would be having sherrif deliver summons. I went down to courthouse, nothing on file so far.

apparently a debt collector, called MY PLACE OF WORK and said they "have a legal claim" in my county. They provided a file number on the voicemail.

recording on voice mail.  said to call  800 545 2386 ext 3484 about a long list of numbers. Assumed it was phising or a scam.

They are a collector, they buy debt and attempt to collect old past due accounts.

These people are ridiculous and obtained my husband's ss# fraudulently.
They never cease and lie lie lie to get you to pay a debt that is not even yours. Nothing has ever appeared on our credit report that they claim he owes. They sometimes call 5 times a day and called three times on Christmas Eve day. Pathetic.

I had a message on my work phone from a "Tom Valento" to call him back and reference such and such number. I called him back but no answer so I left him a message telling him to NOT call my work phone because this is a personal matter. He proceeded to call me back on the work line again and I answered. He said he had gotten the message and I asked him again why he is calling me on the number again anyway and I hung up on him. He called back again but I answered and told him to not call me back again and hung up. I proceeded to my secretary to inform her that if he calls again to NOT put him through. She said that he had asked for the address and she gave it to him. I called him back and asked why he needed my work address and he was very rude and wouldn't tell me which company he is collecting for and proceeded to tell me that I am going to be served and sued and will have my wages garnished. He said that the phone conversation was being recorded so I let him finish talking and hung up the phone. He is definitely not pleasant to deal with and he said that I had plenty of chances to work with him and save some money. BS!

This number seems to be for CI & Associates.  

They are debt collectors but with even lower standards than most.  They will call family, friends and have no problem giving out information about you without making sure they are talking to the right person.  

They also like to make false and bold claims of what they are going to take from you without really having the ability to do so.  Maybe this works on some people but to anyone that has dealt with debt collectors before, CI & Associates are a joke.

If they leave a stupid message like they are talking to someone (there will now be 3 seconds of silence so your answering machine can hang up...what a crock of crap....), [You idiot...You can't leave a message] ,and if you do, the charge is triple *(yes...3000.00 per call), so please call.

The supreme court has stated that you can sue for any amount, even 1000.00 per phone call if you have told them to stop. It doesn't matter if it is you or not, they are looking for.
Once they have been told to not call ,they MUST stop. The award  on the case was 1000.00 per phone call, send them an invoice and the MUST pay or you can turn the tide against them.
If they send mail, ignore it. If yuo reply, then they have t ocome back wit hsome other crap. So the best thing to do is answer the phone and tell them they owe you 1000.00 for every phone call made to your number after this. Keep track of them and send them an invoice. If they show up on your caller I.D. then, take a picture and make note of how many times they call and send them an invoice.

These j*** off card companies have the balls to charge me 30% on a 9% issued card, so I told them to fu** off. They got government money to settle ALL bad debts. ALL of them got it.
I was never late and never missed a payment, period. Never, in 30 years.......!!!!

There are people who will actually penalize you for NOT usuing a credit card...look at ebay or paypal (owned by ebay). If you don't list a CC with them, they make you use e-checks and then they delay them by 5 days. If you stick money in your account, they get the interest they draw from YOUR money in THEIR account, and you get dick........ You don;t want to use a credit card, then they try t omake yo ugive them your driovers license number ,etc. Now who, in this world of rip offs on the internet would goive out that information, period?

A person x 3762 by the name of Susanne called my neighbor and say they had a settlement for me and that I had left their number as a call number if I could not be reached.

I actually had great experience with this guy. He showed my how I was getting ripped off by a debt settlement company. he helped me get a settlement on my debt..and in the end my credit was saved!

Called on my office phone 3 times in 5 minutes.  Said he could call any number he wanted.  Threatened me, my husband, said the call was federally recorded, was going to attach wages and home.

she said her name was Amanda. I told her my name was Melissa. She said I know it is you Frances. I replied back no it is Melissa. I have a private number unlisted. The same for my cell phone. If they want to contact me they can do it in writing. Which I am sure they are not going to do. When I find out the info on each of these companies I report them to the BBB for unfair and illegal collection practices. They are not supposed to leave messages on any phone. They are not to call at your place of business. Since my home is my place of business. They are out of luck. I owe the original creditor. Not them. When I get on my feet they will get paid. Until then they are out of luck. Meanwhile my name is whatever I choose it to be at that moment. She refused to give me a name. Judging from her voice she was a kid herself. Bullying tactics bore me to death. Again illegal. One can turn them into the FTC as well.

Called my sister and said that they were a law firm and that they were trying to reach me regarding a credit issue and that there was a legal proceeding starting next week.

I had a message on my machine from Jason Butler, too.  It was directed to a friend of mine who lived with me...but left the state almost 5 years ago!  I called and left Jason a message saying the person he's looking for is long gone.  Interesting...nothing was ever sent in the mail...  I hope I don't get the multiple phone calls!

Just got a call from "CI" Corporate office in NY looking for my 30 year old son about an arbitration matter and if I could get in contact with him before 10 am on Friday it would be to my son's benefit.  My son hasn't lived at home for 12 years and has no "pending matters" that he spoke of.  Said his name was Marty Palano??

These people call me about 8 times a day. Every day (name is Troy, Joe, John etc..)

Last Novemeber I hired a debt settlement company to pay off my credit cards. They "settle" with the credit card companies on my behalf. since then, these people call every day claiming to be a law firm representing Bank of America and  have threatened to arrest me, take my house, call my family members and ask for money, etc.. They tell me that Bank of America will not settle because it "appears" that I am still paying my mortgage. (in other words, if I have money to pay for the roof over my head, I must be able to pay them)

This last call was 5 minutes ago and he actually yelled in my answering machine. and yes, these people are the ones Bank of America hired. I'm glad I closed my account with them.

I just received a call from this number from a guy named Zimmerman saying that he needed to hear from my lawyer by midnight.  He also said that they have documents that have been placed on their desks and will be filed with an attorney. My husband's name was also referenced.  He went on to say that they were freezing my credit cards (CHASE) which I do not have. I do not speak to credit collecotrs.  I do not answer their calls at work.  Any contact is by mail.  Citi and these other creditors are reprehensible with the way they took government money and raised interest rates. If I did owe them anything, I would not pay a dime.  They've already gotten my money through my tax dollars via government bailout money.

This number calls my house close to every other day with a recording saying they are looking for my brother who does owe lots of money. This is not my brother's number, however, even though he lives in the same house as me.  The recording goes on to say "if you are not the intended person, press 2. I press 2 and the recording continues "please hold for a representative" or something like that. I then hold, a live person comes on, I tell them that they have the wrong number and then give them my brother's number. They sometimes apologize for disturbing us. This doesn't do any good because we keep getting calls from them and one other outfit as well. The thing is, they know my brother's number full well, but they call the house number because my brother doesn't answer his phone if he knows it's people he owes money to. He gives this number because they ask for an alternative number. I give them his cell number anyway just to drive them crazy because they drive me crazy.

Called stating name of Jason Butler at ext. 3925.  Said same thing about sending countless letters, but I have yet to receive one.  He stated that I sent something that was not appropriate for his client.  I never sent anything and do not know who they are.  Same person has called 7 days in consecutive fashion.
Can legal action be taken against them if they continue to call?

Get calls from Crediters Interchange all the time stating that they will start legal proceedings against us.  This started in Dec. 2008 and no proceedings yet.  We are filing bankruptcy and attorney told us not to answer their calls.   Got a call today from a what sounded like Trump Lake.  He shoud have said chump lake.  Low life pieces if s....
