It is a scam, they sell over-priced marginally good products and the oh you are such a great person jargon is crap. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY.  Anyone can create a moderately good website to bilk the masses out of their money..

I used to work for Rubachem back in 2005.  They hired me as a data entry clerk and my job was high pressured and stressful.  The supervisor of my department went out on maternity leave and they hired another girl to take her place.  Once the original supervisor was coming back after having her baby, they suddenly eliminated my position.  The office manager screwed up royally and tried to place the blame on me in hopes of getting me fired but I was able to prove that I was not at fault.  They really will send out the "gift" items they promise (shirts, hats, tickets, etc.) but they are high pressured sales.  I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.  You can buy the same types of products from a janitorial supply store at a much lower cost.

None of you are mistaking... They now operated as Star West Labs LLC... ABSOLUTE CROOKS! Now it's Don Turner at Star West Labs is the same as Don Stevens at Horizonproductsllc.net which is pushing the same scam... Too long a story to tell but, it got past our accounts payable twice to the tune of $2400... I filed with the FTC last week... If that get's nowhere, I wil contact the media and try to get a story done on how poor our tax money is being put to use.. These are flat out crooks and Dennis J. Saccurato, he's the head do***ebag...

This sounds just like the  company that I worked at for about ten days in summer of 97. They were based out of the office complex by the New City Condos. They would try to sell all kinds of office and cleaning supplies and part of the pitch was telling the person that the owner was going to come visit them and takem out for a steak dinner. Wonder if it is the same guy.

I researched the company ad the are connected to RCS software a HUGE publicly trade company, who use to be with clear channel the headquartes is in white plains ny.... ummm can you help me i am conflicted... It is amazing that salespeople can be sooo deceitful and immoral just to get a sale.

This company has many locations with different names.  The primary owner is Leon Rubach who is a man in his 70's or 80's.  His brother Mark Rubach is the other owner, and sons Jason and Joseph Rubach are the other owners.  They have offices throughout the US.  Basically what they do, is have telemarketers call companies and pretend they have met the customer before.  They then offer the customer a spiff, such as a hat, jacket, team tshirt, etc as a "courtesy".  This guilts the customer into making a purchase.  The customer then makes the purchase, and a PO number is issued.  A manager at the chemical company verifies the sale.  When it is time to ship the product, the chemical company then ships multiple, unrequested orders to the buyer at grossly inflated prices.  The buyer will then complain, and after long bs negotiations, the chemical company will "settle" by offering the buyer a discount on the additional product that was never ordered in the first place.  The company has multiple locations, some being NJ,  FL ....
The other posters are correct.  Nobody uses their real names there.  The main owner Leon Rubach has a wife Eva Rubach who owns Evas of NY, a hair salon in NYC.  Leon has spent his whole career hitting on the college girls that work there, and actually hooking up with a couple with whom he paid for their living expenses.  He has even spoken to us about his wifes "face lift", and mentioned how she needed a bodylift as well to have figures like ours.  
Truly sad when the whole Rubach family has to engange in unethical sales to become wealthy.  Their guilt is relieved by being very active in the JCC in New Jersey, and Holocast Survivor charities.  Apparantly they think giving money to charity will exuse them at the golden gates.

One of my customers was recently scammed by RCS, purchasing a $25 box of 200 ear plugs for $280 and a box of 20 Dust masks for $158.  When called they replied "no return on any items".  The BBB has similar complaints regarding this company. Beware.

Hey, I used to work for Rubachem too when I was in college.  They were in Englewood.

Its a SCAM completely!  The guy's name that handled the college students working there was named, " Steve."  He's probably still there.   But yeah, that so called "company" is no good.  If they happen to still be around, i'm sure they won't be around much longer.  Most businesses nowadays completely HATE telemarketers, and don't want to be bothered with annoying sales calls.

And yeah you're right, we all made up fake names and read from a script.  And steve would always tell the girls to sound nice and sweet, and giggle and flirt with the men on the phone to get them to buy the product.  

I will admit though, even though I felt bad scamming people, this job (out of millions outthere) was the best telemarketing job I've ever had.  Everyone got along well, we all worked together as a team, some of us would come up with the fakest, and funniest sales names---like Tom Green, or Albert Brady, or Tom West........lol.........lol.........lol....it was soooo funny! We all got a kick out of that!!

Also, they would give us prizes (like t-shirts, hats, etc) for having made a sell, etc. And even take us out to eat or bowling somewhere.........ahhhhh yeah! It was definitely a fun job, stressful at times if you couldn't make a sell, but definitely a fun job.  I have rather fond memories of it----but I'm glad I don't work there anymore! :-) lol......
