got a phone call. no body answered the phone.

They phone at least once a day, no one answers when you pick-up. It is more annoying than listening to a canned message!

Have been calling lately but I haven't answered.  I called the number above (1-800-525-9472) to be removed and it was no problem.

Just got a call from this number today.    I phoned them back and found it was the Canadian Cultural Society for the Deaf (note not the Blind this time).

Used 1-800-525-9472, as noted in the post above, to contact them and found their automated service to be very user friendly and clear.  If you are calling from your home phone you simply press 9.   Their system confirms your telephone number and if correct you press 1.  At that point they confirm that your phone number has been put on their DO NOT CALL LIST for all of their clients.

Yet another call from this number.  This time they called our fax line.  Hope they got an earful.  I called the number the say they are Canadian Cultural Society for the Blind.  I got a number to call for the do not call list 1-800-525-9472.  The voice message is so garbled that I could not make out what to do.  Could not speak to a real person.

Man called asking for the manager.  I said he wasn't in and asked what it was concerning.  He said he had to talk to the manager.  I told him that unless he gave me the information the call would not go to the manager because that is the way our company works.  He said it was about a donation.  I told him I needed more details before I would either pass him to the manager or give him the name of the manager.  He said "that's unfortunate".  I needed all the details before he could go any farther.  He hung up.

Yes I am also getting numerous calls from this company.  I think they are called GE Money but don't quote me on that.  I am about to do a intensive search.  I have been talking to Bell Canada for the last several hours.  I plan to call DO NOT CALL with CRTC on Monday to make a serious report on this.  If you want to know their number it is 1-866-580-3625.  You can also go online to the Do Not call CRTC website and do a written complaint.  Apparently they WILL be fined if you follow through with your complaints.  I have also been harassed by another number from the same company.   1-800-661-3671.  Type that in and see how many people have been complaining about that number.  I am so frustrated with this nonsense.  It is a total invasion of privacy.  Let me know if you make any headway as well.    Louise

I recieve at least 10 to 12 times a day.  No answer or response when asking who it is.  This needs to stop right away!!

I am so tired of getting these unsolicited phone calls.  Get one from 800-671-8627 at least once a day and sometimes they even call in the evening.  This is very annoying.  Does anyone know who they are and how to get them to stop calling??

this number called dme everyday 1 800 671 8627. i always said hellow and the person didnt answer.....they called me every single day. i waz trying to finding the person by number, but i never get any information. if i called them back they give us voice message. they are so scared.  and i think thye don't even knwo to speak. thye are already deaf i think they even cannt speak now.

July 28 a weird sounding lady (i.e. drugs?) didn't answer the first two times I said "Hello?"  then she said "Helllooooo." rudely and asked for Mr. (My last name) I said "He's not here." and she hung up.

I got a call and I let it go to voicemail.  The caller didn't leave a message -- must be telemarketing.
