Phone call received to pledge toward Breast Cancer Research and mail card received.   When we called to confirm money order sent, number goes into endless loop and hangs up.

What a way to take  people's money-- don't fall for it.

This is what I got, when I put the address in my computer? I did not even put in the ups store... check out the address yourself.  It is suppose to be the "I go Pink" BREAST CANCER SUPPORT FOUNDATION.  Your monies go to this car Finance place.

Almost mailed in a contribution, but I remembered something about this org being questionable. Glad I googled it. I sent back the form sans check telling them to take me off the call list. The UPS drop box was certainly a giveaway.

Actually was duped into giving to this organization last year, since then they have been relentlessly calling every couple of months requesting more donations.  I got suspicious and Googled their number and got this site - glad I did, going to give the the local breast cancer support group from now on.  Sickens me that my money went to telemarketing scum!

They called and said they were a breast cancer support group. I said I already support the SGKomen foundation and they said that was for research and their organization helped patients. She insisted on getting my credit card number. I asked instead for them to send me literature and I would send $20. A week or so later I received a two part form with my name, address and phone number, a contribution number, and their mailing address which is a UPS Store in Dallas, which made me uneasy and prompted my checking them out. On the bottom of the form it says "The Breast Cancer Support Foundation is recognized as tax exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Your donation is tax deductible"  I recall other charitable organizations provide much more information on their mailers and usually have an insert or pamphlet about the organization. I'm glad this post was available.

I have been receiving call from them over the past few months.  Same story- would I donate, and can we have your credit card number now?  I  wasn't comfortable with that, so they send me a donation slip in the mail.  They called. They sent again, They called again, They sent again, and on and on and on.  They appear to be shady, with a UPS Store mail box.  I'm just going to block they're phone number.

I got a phone call - not sure what the number was, but they wanted me to donate to Breast Cancer Support Foundation.  I said sounds good, send me an invoice - I wasn't going to do it over the phone.

They've sent me three now - I haven't paid yet.  I sat down this morning thinking I'd visit their website and pay online.  The thing is, I can't find a website, but when I google the phone number on the invoice, I got this link here.  The back of the invoice says they are a program of The Breast Cancer Charities of America, which has this web site:

So, looks very similar - they have one of the same logos as the mailer, and located at the same city, but a different address.  The return address envelope is completely plain, which seems sketchy.  The mailer also makes no reference to any web site.  I think I'll just donate through a legit website.

Requesting donations

they called me several times requestion a $20.00 donation..wanted a debit card..I told them to send me an invoice...can't locate them anywhere. Not on IRS 178 not on web under their addresses. Dallas is a UPS PObox..this is screaming SCAM to me

It is a scam

I received a call from them asking me to donate to their charity.  They were selling themselves on what a great organization they are and how they supply women with aid directly. They kept pushing me to make a $20 donation, but I insisted that I was tapped out on my donation giving, they persisted and I relented to $10.  Then the caller said that she was going to connect me to her secretary. The call was not passed through any kind of switch or transfer, the reciever was merely passed to another person.  The woman verified my address and asked me what credit card I would like to use for my $20 donation.  I said I was only giving $10 and that I wanted to mail a check.  She tried to sell me on the credit card deal.  But I insisted on check by mail.  I recieved the "invoice" and I am throughly convinced this is a complete scam.

Says they are a breast cancer charity. Never heard of them.
