I received a call from this number - they were looking for a relative of mine who is NOT at this number because my relative has my same last name, and it's an unusual name.  I asked what company this number belonged to, and the answer was "ARS".  I asked what those letters meant, and she said "nothing" and that it was just the name of the company.  I told her that was ridiculous, and also requested my number be removed from their call list because I was never going to be able to help her or anyone else from her "company".  She said she would do that - we'll see.  I'm sure it's a collection agency because that's the way they operate.  They check the local telephone registries for matching names, and then start making calls.  Unfortunately, there are only 2 or 3 families in this area with my same last name....lucky me.

someone named Kristen called and left a message saying I'd know what it's about. I don't.

Somebody called me from this number, I think it is a collections number, said his name was Jack and that he had spoken with the client (?) and needed to hear back from me that day.
