Just received a voicemail from "Dennis" wanting to talk about a personal injury claim. Left a 303 area code number with an extension, but the caller id was the 800#. From the looks of this board he sure gets around!

Dallas, there are programs that generate phone numbers for telemarketers to call. Thank goodness we can now put cell #'s on do not call lists!

I got a call from 800-777-7774 on my personal cell number.  I am a shareholder in mid size firm.  After reading about this, I wonder how did the caller get my personal cell number!  

Call came in as 800-777-7774 and went to voice mail as I DO NOT answer 800# calls.Caller voice mail stated he had several personal injury cases and interested in discussing a transfer to my office. Caller left a local Seattle area code (206) number - 652-**** with an extension. I DO NOT return calls of this nature.

I also received a call from this number from a man going by the name of Dennis. He wanted to know the % of PI cases our firmed worked on. The call was suspect from the beginning. He wanted to speak to the attorney directly and refused to give me information about his "friend's auto accident". Not sure who this guy is but beware.

I had received a phone call from Lawrence Jones. He asked if the attorney handles personal injury matters. I told him yes, we do. I then asked him if he was in an accident. He said his friend was in a car accident. Then as I proceeded in doing my job in screening the phone call he became extremely rude. He yelling and screamed at me. He said he had to talk to the attorney about his friend, saying he would not speak to the secretary about anything. Only thing is, I am the firm's paralegal. I can not believe that someone would speak to any professional in that manner. He was very unprofessional.

Called my law office and left a voice mail message containing a similar "come on" on 5-29-2013.  Said it was Dennis, he wanted to talk about a personal injury claim, and left a 312 area code call back number (but the 1-800 number was on my UVerse message board).   Concur the call ought not to be returned.  I appreciate  this thread.  It was a time saver.

Called my law office and wanted to know what percentage of personal injury claims we handled....  If this guy "Dennis" is not a telemarketer, he is selling information to telemarketers.  You know, these joints that call law offices and "refer" cases to the attorney then demand thousands of dollars as their share of the "fee".....  If you see this number come up on your Caller ID, LET IT GO TO VOICE MAIL.

I received 2 calls from this number on my cell phone, picked up the 2nd  one
Caller hung up.

Suspect he  is selling info to telemarketers who want  to know what time  they can
reach cell phones.
