Scam company for ink toner.

Would you trust any company that has to use spam faxes to generate business??

Got a fax from them as well. It looks like a scam from the fax. But they seem to have a fairly professional website http://www.prizesupplies.com/   . Now I am confused. Shall I trust them or not

Well, if you call them back leave a msg?they will call you back?then when you tell them you want to be removed from their list they call you all kinds of names and yell and scream?awesome way to sell anything?will be reporting them to the fraud unit.

We are in Vernon BC and received the same fax offering a free I Pad or 42" LCD for a minimum order of ink. Oh how obvious is this.
 Hope they are willing to do COD and the gift better arrive with the ink if we take them up on their offer, which is highly unlikely.  No company name, bogus fax numbers, personal cell #'s all spells FRAUD/SCAM.  You know the old rule if It is too good to be true then something is wrong.!

Just got the same Fax Lori! Same numbers and all!!
Called the sales associate number - left number for call back.
He called back in about two minutes. Said his name was Brian.

I asked who they were - he said Lazer Technologies. Asked why we received the fax as we do not use them and he said that they have either supplied to us at one time or asked for a quote from them. Told him that no it was not true as I have been with this company from day one and in charge of those supplies and have never used them as I have been using the one company since we opened for the past 14 years!

Told him to remove us from the list - he asked for the company name and fax number. I gave him just the fax number. He asked for the name and I told him he did not need it - just remove that number from your list and if it were a legit business, then he would have our name listed with our fax number!

He got a bit rude then and told me that they have thousands in their database and it could take some time to remove us from the list. I thin informed him that I too work with databases and it takes about 1 minute to remove someone from it and that all he needed was the fax number to do it. I then told him that I forgot to let him know I was recording the call for future reference. He stammered abit then and asked why. I told him it was for my proof I had spoke to someone and asked to be removed from the list on this date and what the conversation entailed and that if there was any more faxes to us, I would take everything to the authorities and report it for investigation. He chuckled and asked who I would report it to and when I said the Fraud unit, he got quiet and told me he would remove our number and then hung up.
Think I may report it anyway.

The number he called back from was a California number: 1-760-705-8888

Right on dude! I think I will use your tactics as well!!! Little payback!

I received the same fax today about a free apple ipad. HUge scam , dont give any credit card numbers or information. Here is the number they told to call : 800-757-3562. And to remove from your fax number here is the number 877 404 4697. BIG SCAMMMMM

Have been receiving phone calls from these scam artists for the past couple years now and today I was privileged enough to receive my first fax from them!  I probably shouldn't have and will probably regret it, but I called the number at the bottom of the fax that claims you can remove your fax number from their list.  I hope they call me back, actually, so I can give them an earfull and let them know that if the calls/faxes continue I will be reporting them.  Everyone who receives a call or fax from these jerks should be reporting them too!!!!!

I use autoredial and call back.  Each call costs them money with the toll free # they provide.
These spammers piss me off!  I get 20 fax spam a week and tired of it!  And we can't do anything!

Even if they were giving their crap away for free I'd never purchase from them. GRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!

Obviously a scam...but how many will fall for it?

Unity Roofing has now sent unsolicited faxes to our office twice in the past month.  Offers removal number that does not connect which is a direct violation of the Junk Fax Protection Act.  Dear Unity Roofing: whomever you are using to promote your business, you should know that this company is exposing you to thousands of dollars in fines, attorneys fees and headaches.  Get it together.

Ordered from this company on Feb 13th. Ordered 12 HP toners for my colored copier and got a Free Ipad. No troubles here, suspicious of the fax but they held the deal on their end. Toners are working fine too!

Did anyone get a suspicious telephone call shortly before getting the fax?  I got a call and they claimed they had called the wrong number but it didn't sound right. it sounded too scripted and rehearsed.  I think it was them calling to confirm that it was an existing business they were targetting

I called back "John"s number 800-757-3562.  It's an answering machine.  (I guess they don't want us to waste their valuable time).  I put the phone down next to my computer speaker -- silence may cause the answering machine to stop recording.  Now John's answering machine is full of classic rock.  I wonder what other types of music John likes?

Despite requesting the removal of my fax number from their listing I still get their faxes once a week.

Have receive multiple faxes from them and haver reported them to the CRTC.  Big scam!!!

So what happened?

In Nova Scotia - I just received the same fax for the free Apple iPad II.  "First 50 callers only" and "minimum order applies".  Only the phone number to call is 800-757-3562.  This "John" must have a few numbers on hand to use.  Such a scam!!  Everyone - you shouldn't call or enter your fax# at the suggested website because you will probably get more scam faxes!!

100% a scam. I am the office manager of a company who supplies ink and toners and we are a re-manufacturing site. We supply toner, we don't have toner supplied to us.

Fax from "John," company "Your ink supplier lazer tech," handwritten, promising free ipad.  I figure if it was Laser Tech they'd know how to spell their name, and they'd be using a more sophisticated fax sheet.

same annoying fax about free i pad 2 . i use my telus *67 which hides the number i am calling then call the 18778968276 number over and over and just blow whistles and make rude noises into the phone. If i ever get a fax number out of one of these company's i wait until the evening when they are out of the offfice and fax them a full stack of black paper to empty their toner cartrigde. ha ha ha  I also report everything to the rcmp at their anti fraud site.you can forward faxes to them at 18886549426 or email to info@antifraudcentre.ca
