I'm not sure that's 100% accurate. You may be paying the wrong person. They called me, in Canada. I missed the call, so decided to call the number back... "Welcome to America's hottest chat line..." If their outgoing number leads you back to a "Hot chat line", chances are they are not legit.

If you're still getting these calls on your cell, download Mr. Number. It's a GREAT call blocker. You can tell it to hang up immediately or go to voice mail. It also recognizes numbers that are telemarketers and will block them immediately. If they miss one, you can go in and tell it to block the number. It's a free app and works great.

No message left.  ID comes up "NOT ANSWER DO". I will not call back since they won't leave a message.  If they keep calling without leaving a message I will block.

Why would this call even be made if the caller identification species not to answer when they call? The caller ID is announced as "Not Answer Do" when being announced throughout my house by my verbal caller ID system. And they call early in the morning on weekends? I don't recall having seen this caller before having called me, but it is a very peculiar way to identify yourself when calling someone. I just picked up and hung up. I mean...they told me not to answer! haha But the ring is annoying. I have seen that others are identifying this number as LabCorp. I do not know if this is true. Just odd....

Collection agency

This number is a scam number. The caller id says "Do not answer" which is a criminal act since Dec 2010. Only criminal would call using this tatic. It is not a legitimate company. Do not answer calls from unknown callers. This is obviously not a real company. If it was they would not break the law. Crimnals are calling you. DA's.

Received call 9-9-13 We don't use answer machine, decided to check number here. My wife used a Dr. here in Ga.  Had blood work done, all her records say use Quest Diagnostics, the morons at the Dr. sent it to LabCorp. leaving us with a balance of about $100.00. If the Dr. had sent it to the correct lab, we would not have a bill as our insurance pays 100% of labs. Thank you Phoenix Medical of McDonough. We have been trying to get the Dr. to correct this for months, but the contact person there can't handle her job properly. They messed up, they need to fix it.

STOP CALLING ME

The number is legit, it is from Lab Corp of America. To be safe I called customer service (a different number) to verify. They needed to check my address, the one they had was off by one number is all.

LOL...this came across Caller ID as, "Do Not Answer"...so,  I  didn't. Who sets up caller ID as "Do Not Answer" and expects someone to pick up?

It is labcorp, and I  do owe them, but the Caller ID struck my funny bone. I had to  post here.

This is a message from LabCorp about an unpaid medical laboratory tests you'd had; but not paid for

This number calls my home phone.  On the caller id it says Not Answer Do.  They spoof their numbers.  It is a Lab Corp.

Got a call and voicemail from this number, sounded automated.  Transcription from vonage: "Regarding a severely past due bill. This is a final demand for payment. If this account is not paid by July tenth two thousand thirteen. We will have no choice but to refer to an outside collections agency and the Lab Corp reserves the right to refuse future laboratory services for failure to pay this invoice. The invoice number that is past due is (removed). Again please remit payment by July tenth two thousand thirteen. To avoid referral to a collection agency. You can contact one of our credit analyst between eight am and five pm at 8007937880. Thank you."

I called the number back, talked to a friendly enough lady, she asked my phone number that they had called, she asked if this was (removed name), I said that was not me, she asked if she could ask my name, I declined, she said that was okay, she did something briefly, and then she said she had removed my phone number from the system.

I will report this number to the authorities. When you call back to the unavailable 1 800 number, no one responds. The automated message ask you to return the call but they don't tell you how.

or, just write down the number, and look at the cell phone # on your display while the phone's ringing, and ignore it.

RE: 800-793-7880 is Lab Corp collections for lab work done in your doctors office and sent off to the lab. why there are co-pays for drawing blood, I'm not sure but they sure are now trying to get every dime from anyone who has labs done.

They call my cell all the time. I never heard of the person they want. I asked them it was an AIDS test and they got kind of upset.

I wonder if it is a scam of some kind.

Didn't appreciate the way they called, but I'm in the same boat, we had lab work done but they billed the wrong insurance company.  My husband had gone to get lab work done and they wouldn't do it because they said he hadnt paid his bill.  It took a couple of minutes to clear it up, but they placed the unpaid bill in "pending" and my husband was able to get lab work done while they rebilled the insurance.  This is true.  I'm retired and don't care who calls, but hate it when they don't leave information!

If you have a newer phone, you can select the number under "recent calls" and select "reject".   The phone will not ring!  It's a great thing!  Contact your cell company or the manufacturer of your phone.  Or you can go to the manufacturer's web page, select your phone and search for "reject calls".

you may have to call your carrier and ask for technical support or search for your phone manufacturer and go to the web page and search for "reject calls".  I have a Samsung Galaxy S3.  Go to phone, recent, save as a contact, you can input Sales or Do Not Answer.....whatever you want.  Then in the lower left there's a lighted page icon.  Tap it and select: Add to reject list.

That's all there is to it!

Actually, some companies do send employees to this site! The reason is to sound like a satisfied customer, there for making said company seem legit, when nine times out of ten it is not! Hence, a shill!!

Oh yes you guys are idiots! you really think lab corp has people patrolling the internet looking for posts like these to convince people it's not a bad phone number?  Give me a break, believe it or not some people actually pay their bills and don't want a simple mistake like a wrong address to hurt thier credit.  I don't think Lab Corp gives a damn if people badmouth their 800 number on this website lol

Labcorp...wanting payment.  They call me EVERYDAY seeking payment from me because it takes my insurance company 23 weeks to issue payment.  They do NOT care that I am not responsible for the bill.  I have reported them to Healthlink as this is not the agreed upon practice per their contract.

I called the number, held for a minute, and got a "Sheree"  Bottom line, though annoying, my call was legit.  She wanted a lot of my information first, even though I gave her the invoice# that the automated call gave me.  The posts I've seen here and elsewhere made me highly suspicious.  I have had my identity stolen about 2 years ago.  she explained that due to HIPPA laws (medical privacy act passed by Clinton) she needed TWO forms of ID from me.  I wouldn't give my cellphone # (I had called from a land line).  I gave her my date of birth, and my address.  The invoice amount they wanted was $12.04, so that wasn't the scam.
After ID'ing me, she gave me the date of service, from two months ago, gave me my doctor's name, and the type of test (throat culture) it was.  I can now verify that it was legit.  HOWEVER, I did not make payment over the phone.  Because of my identity theft, I won't do that.  I told her I would talk to my doctor, review my insurance's Explanation of Benefits, and then get my insurer to pay, or at least verify why it wasn't covered.

Labcorp trying to collect on an over inflated test they did.  you know charge twice what it's worth get the medicare payment and all the blood(money) you can get out of the patient is gravy.
