This company is totally misrepresenting itself. I received a call from a wolpoff and Abramson I called back asking what they wanted and who was calling and they said it was calvary portfolio service a debt collection company and when I asked why the number showed up with wolpoff and abramson. The lady yelled at me and said I was lying. So I hung up on her and have since had them blow up my phone. They call all the time and won't tell me what its about.

My employer just gave me a new iPhone to use as I work in the field. As I napped over the weekend I noticed I had missed calls on a brand new phone that I didn't even know the number for yet. (That sucker isn't coming out of box till case arrives) So I looked up the number and it came straight to all this info about a debt collector. I wonder if they don't just call random numbers and try to get money from people?

800-861-4628 is a company called Cavalry Portfolio Services, and they keep calling my business repeatedly. They are clearly a collection agency, but they are looking for someone who does NOT work for my business, has NEVER worked for my business, and they even have the WRONG company name and industry for my business! My secretary has informed them numerous times now that they have the wrong number and that we just obtained this number a year ago. They have stated that the call is being recorded and that they will keep calling until they reach the person they are looking for. Reporting the calls as harassment directly to our landline business phone provider, the FCC.gov website, as well as to the Attorney General's Office in New York.

These people do not care if you are the person they are trying to reach or not! Talk about rude... so I decided to call them, using the computer. Through Gmail, there is free calling and they do not know who is calling. Let me tell you... they hate to have people call them over and over again (grin) imagine that! I also kept giving them fake names. I know it won't stop the harassment, so I am getting my number changed...

These people call me at work at all hours. Its definatly harrasment becasue I don't believe its legal to call someone at work more then once if you tell them to desist.

This company continues to call our home because the person they are looking for was in a neighboring condo unit. If it is not unlawful, it should be - it certainly is harassment. The nerve of them using neighboring tax records to find one of their "duds" and bothering me on my personal home phone number is outrageous.

They call my office after hours - usually twice an evening, several nights a week; never leave a message. This has been going on for several months. No problem, since there's no one here to be bothered!

It is a company called Calvary - a bill collector. I told them the person they seek is not at this number but they still call my cell phone. I have now installed a call blocking app that will pick up and hang up immediately when they call. I no longer worry with them. They are relentless, but thx to this app, I am not bothered by them and their ridiculousness anymore.

I have the option of muting my ringer, and I never answer these people because I don't know who they are. But they call ALL the time! Today is Saturday and I have already received one call per 15 minutes all morning long. Since I will never answer this call, isn't it a waste of their resources?

These people have called several times asking for a person who has never lived here nor do I have any idea who this person is. I have repeatedly asked them to not call again, as it is a cell phone and I'm charged minutes. I wish there were some way that I could get law enforcement to shut them down.

They keep calling our house. There are thousands and thousands and thousands with the exact same name. They don't seem to understand they have the wrong person associated with the debt. Leave us alone.

Have gotten two calls from this number 800-861-4628 in the last hour. I do not recognize the number and they don't leave a message when the machine picks up. I will report this number if I get any more calls - I am on the state and federal "Do Not Call" list so I should not be getting any telemarketing calls.
