just got a call this number its from Meijer card being used in GA I'm in MI charge was OK son has card they always call when a charge is made out of state and im still charging here better safe than sorry

800-882-9600 is GE credit card service. got a call for/from fraud prevention. I missed the call but message was left to call back and verify recent transactions on my credit card.

I did call the number back, they first wanted my social security number. The Fraud Department.They claimed to be in India.
They didn't show a reason I was called. Perhaps hackers are working a scam on GE.
She said they represented GE, Chevron, Sam's Club and JC Penney.

I returned the call and it sounded just like an official GE phone number but I hung up when it asked for part of my credit card number.
I called the (Master Card) credit card issuer and was told that nothing was suspicious on my account and that they had not initiated any fraud investigation. THEY SAID THAT THE CALL WAS A FRAUD!!!
DO NOT CALL THIS NUMBER BACK AND DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION.

Got a call from 800-822-9600 on my cell. I didn't answer it and there was no message left. Tried looking online to see if anyone else rcv'd a call from this number and have yet to find anything. Just wondering who it is coming from & why.....
