KEEP CALLING ME DONT KNOW WHY

This company calls me more than 7 times every day----I try to ignore the calls.  I picked up a few times but no one was there to communicate.

The 7x/daily calls show up as from 1 800 893 3081.

It's been going on for over 2 months.  Maddening.  Must be illegal.  I am disabled and this is getting me sick.

Stop Calling Plaes.

Keep getting calls from these people saying they are trying to collect on a debt. I don't owe a debt. Tried their website they left on message no website. Why don't they send a letter. Think its time for attorney harrassesing calls.

This company calls and if you answer, it has an automated system. The robo voice starts off with something like "this call is for rod marcus. if you are rod marcus press 1. if you are not rod marcus press 2."  So I press "2" and then the darn thing says something like "if you need extra time to get rod marcus to the phone press "blah". if we have dialed a wrong number press "blah".  I am NOT ROD MARCUS and it isn't the first time they have called but they might ask for someone else. With all of the calls, NONE of them have been for me. At first I thought it might be some kind of scam and I was going to end up with some crazy charges on the phone but it appears most people that do get a person finds out that the company called ERC which is a debt collector. It has been infuriating - if anyone out there is like me and the number they are calling is your small business, you know that you need to pick up the phone because it could be a client, or, a company that you need to talk to. I agree with many callers - seems like they pick random numbers out of the blue that aren't you and even when you press the right buttons to make it stop, it doesn't. I saved it and labeled it as a "DNA___" giving it a number meaning DO NOT ANSWER! to try to at least bring some sanity into my day! They call repeatedly - wish I could set the business cell phone to block the call.

This number called me when i was in the middle of using the rest room.  I was so startled that I dropped my phone in the commode.  I fished it out, but I guess they hung up because I didn't hear anything.  How rude!

This number called my magic jack # and we are in Banckruptcy so I am sure they dont know who they are calling.

STOP CALLING YOU HAVE WRONG NUMBER!!!!

You can reactivate a debt if start paying on it.  The 7yrs time limit can start all over again.

They just want you to pay on account to reactivate the debt. Keep your wits about you and DO NOT reactivate any old debts that are 7 yrs old.  Remember this does not apply for federal gov't debt.

Now they appear to be calling from a different number: 800-945-6596. They're still asking for the same person, and the person on the phone sounded like she was Indian or Pakistani.

It's got to be some kind of scam. No reputable company would operate this way.

Next stop: FCC to report them.

These idiots have started calling me this week, and after five or six calls I have finally figured out that they are looking for someone who has the same last name that I do, and probably lives in the same city.  It apparently doesn't matter in the least to these morons that my first name is completely different (never mind the fact that I have no idea who the person is anyway).

I think these sorts of calls can be viewed as pure harassment since what they seem to have done is to randomly gather a list of people with my last name (which is not an uncommon one) and then just started blindly calling anyone and everyone with that last name. Obviously they MUST have known from the very start that all but possibly one of their calls would be going to the wrong person.

I have now told a live person that no one by that name is at my address, and after that I was given the ultimate pleasure today of telling a robot the same thing. Who knows how many times they'll be calling back...

Stop Calling Me.  Don't know who you are and you are harassing me.  If this continues I will report you to appropriate authorities.

It is not a matter of being a fool and answering. This horror of a person or robot calls all day long and wakes me up, interrupts my work day and makes me miserable. The phone rings at all times and repeatedly whether I answer it or not.

I have recieved a call from them every week day since the begining of June. Since it is a landline and I don't have a an actual phone hhoked up. I have the convienence of being able to see who has called via internet. I can't imagine why they would be calling me, I pay my bills. Hoping that it is the former owner of the phone number.

Go to Sunbiz.gov, this is the corporte registration who owns the compnay, the manager, director and President.  Open the PDF files and you will find all names and contact addresses to the main persons.   send them letters to their home.  put the address in google and find out where they live and send cease and desisit letters yourself . maybe to their residence address.  How you think they would  like that?  fax the letters.  Dun the owners, president  v. president of the compnay.  see if they are listed with the stock market, get to their investors.  there's ;lots a consumer can do and the best information is that it's public records.   they cannot stop you, unless they send you a cease and desisit but by then you already got your point accross!!  hahahaah  Oh well that how they found YOU

This number keeps calling me and I finally called them back and spoke to a nice woman - asked her who they were looking for and it certainly wasn't me - told me they were looking for Mercedes Abreu.  I have gotten many other debt collection agencies calling me looking for this same woman so either she is handing out a bogus number which happens to be mine or these agencies keep selling the wrong number to other agencies.  This woman said she would remove the number .

Here's the trick....if you are getting these calls on your cellphone, save the number as a contact called "Don't Answer" and download a silent ring and assign it to this contact.  That way when they call you won't hear the phone ring or be bothered by it anymore.  I have my office calls forwarded to my cell and I do this for sales calls and annoying surveys as well! Works like a charm!!  If everyone did this maybe these idiots would get the message.  One of them even sent me a text last week that said "Hi"  Jerks!  :)

I just added this Business to the BBB list. I filed a complaint. just go to the BBB website and type in the full company name. Everyone who has had a problem with them needs to do this. Otherwise there won't be much of an investigation. Thank you.
