i live in utah, this is actually a number downloaded from a text to talk program, so the person calling you from this number doesn't have to disclose thier phone number, usually someone has called from thier real number ie wife checking on husbands phone bill to your number and doesn't want to disclose her number. i know ive used it before and that is what comes up. so a text to talk program or phone program app to give you a bogie number so the person youre calling can't find out your real number.

If you really like to have fun with this type of call, look online for surveys, marketing deals, insurance quote offers etc and input this as your number. If 100 people enter it on 10 forms each they get 1000's of unwanted call backs tying up the number. Also, you get the satisfaction of knowing that you are now wasteing some telemarketers time by having them call another telemarketer.
It works best when you give the number to some other outfit that uses an automated dialer, or better yet a blaster campaign caller (think bill collectors). An automated dialer checks to see if the call was answered, and if there was human response (any recorded message is identified as an answering machine). An answered call with no response is usually defaulted to a 4 hour call back pattern, a busy signal gets 15 minutes between calls, and a live human response that was not actionable gets an 8 hour reprieve. So every time you give the offending number to a webpage that inputs it into an automated dialer you can expect it to call it back something like 3 times per day, per entry. (You can see how it doesnt take too many people doing this to wreck a PBX.) It's essencially a denial of service attack, only by telephone rather than internet

Do us all a favor.... if your phone number is listed on the DO NOT CALL website, please go there and file a complaint against the phone number calling you.
I have been receiving phone calls from Utah, Kentucky, Oregon, Florida, North Carolina, Minnesota, etc....
Sometimes they ask to lower your APR on your credit card... and if you do get a person on the line and ask "which" credit card, they will hang up...
But please report them to the FTC (Federal Trade Commision), REPORT ALL phone numbers you get from these people, it is then entered into a data base, when a large group of people are reporting the same numbers over and over, this is when things start to happen and they go after these people, not reporting them goes unnoticed and you keep getting the calls....

Apparently 'Rachel' has a new number. She's calling me from 305-202-1132 now. Same ol recorded message, same ol scam. I started a new thread with that number for other recipients to make comment.

Verizon allows you to block calls for 90 days at a time. Check with your cell phone company and they should have a call block option. For Verizon, you have to do the blocking online.

These people are scam artists. They just are trying to get personal information to use illegally. They are looking for information so they can steal identities. Reporting them to the DoNotCall Registry does no good. Nothing is done, as they can merely alter the phone numbers they are using. They just set up shop in another place and cannot be caught. The only way to deal with this is to block the numbers individually, or block all numbers except those you list as known contacts. Sorry.

I looked up the number you posted and it also is some kind of marketing scam. Where did you get this number to forward to FCC? OR are you one of these marketing groups trying to drum up business.

Keep getting calls from this number or a number similar to it, just changing one number but it's about the same thing, lowering interest on credit cards. There is no way to get them to stop calling.

I think these guys pulled my number off of my Craigs list ad. If you have Tmobile family allowances, log into your account and add them to your "never allowed" then when they call, they get a recording saying this phone will not accept your calls.
I get some of these.every time I post an ad but only once.
