I just got a reply to a craigslist ad, same number and also same as the previous post.  Bank certified check, "my" shipping company will pick up and will wait till the check clears before pick up.  What can I say, thanks everyone for posting.  Absolutely sounds like a classic scam to me.  I have just replied with a "NO", cash only.

This time we got text message from our Craigslist add. . He wants to buy our bird. he will send us a "bank certified check". He send a mover to come look at it after the check clears the bank and check out the bird. At least this one says he will wait for the check to clear but it still sounds like a scam. Unreal!

This idiot did the same thing to my craigslist posting yesterday! I was like, " Do I have stupid written across my forehead?"

This number responded to my craigslist posting and  tried to get me to send them my bank account number and info.  Fortunately I am not stupid and did not provide.
