Just like everybody on here, just received a call from them, no one answered. I am also on the Do Not Call list. This crap has got to stop!

I just received a call from the above number and had a breif illegable message. I looked the number and I am reporting this call to the unwanted calls list.

It is I beliecve a number in South Carolina and I have no business with any one inSouth Carolina at this time.

We have had a dozen calls from different companies in the past 2 or 3 weeks. Regardless of the company, they all start out with "This is not a sales call. Police have reported there have been break-ins in your neighborhood."
They want to install a home security system FREE OF CHARGE in exchange for allowing them to post a sign in our yard. NO COST TO ME. Yeah, right.
There is a monthly "connection fee" to connect the system to the phone lines... usually $45 or so.
At the end of the initial pitch, they say press 1 to speak to a representative; press 9 to be removed from our call list. I have pressed 9 EVERY TIME I have gotten one of these calls. So by now I should have been removed from the call list of all these companies.
Yeah, right.

"Loan Modification"...I followed through with their spiel and received a call back from an individual on a cellphone (917-266-2432). Blocked both numbers. However, if you want to have some fun, this person is currently selling a Volvo 940 GLE on Craigslist (url removed). If everyone who visits here calls asking about the car, we should be able to slowly drive him insane.

Annoying unwanted repeated calls, leaves no message when my answering machine picks up.  Called the number back to try to get off their call list and they said they are not the company making these phones calls??  and they are trying to correct the problem?  What?  If I'm calling the number back, and your answering, how can you not be the party making the call in the first place.

I got an automated call sell free home security equipment.  One call a couple weeks ago that I hung up on.  Again a week ago that I again hung up on.  3 calls Monday that I didn't take.  One call yesterday that I listen to and pushed #2 to tell them to take me off the list.

I pressed redial and the message was stated that someone stole their number and they are getting a new one, the caller id on my phone said Green Tree Service.  We get calls all the time, but don't answer, if we don't know you, sorry!!!!

I just called it back and there is a recording apologizing that they are not affiliated with the idiots that had this number before them

This number has been calling for days and we are on the Do Not Call List.  Yesterday they called twice.  If they call again, I'm calling the police!  And I'm not joking.  They are breaking the law.

Has called me once per day for the past week.  I can't take it anymore.

This number has called me every day at least 2-3x's a day...I can't even tell them to stop or hit a button it just beeps at me!  ugh.

He is right. Phonetray Free can not only block calls but it logs all calls coming in.

Same as everyone else. Number 803-740-1406 has called several times with no message left. I am also on the do not call list.

Automated message talking about a free alarm system. I decided to listen to the whole thing to see if they had a "remove your #" option and they did, so I used it. If they call again I'll report them to the Do Not Call registry.

This number calls me consistently and will not leave me alone!! It's a message system that I just put to voice mail. I text stop to them and they still continually continue to call. HELP!!!

I have registered my complaint with my state attorney general's office.

Just filed a complaint with the "do not call registry".  We are supposedly to get cash....but I won't hold my breath.

They just don't give up.  They keep dialing and I do not answer.  Get the off of my back.

All of these people check kill me------they must think we are all idiots-------it doesn't matter what it says as the name on caller id------i don't answer if i don't know who it is-------only way they can get me is to use a name i know personally which i would think will never happen..........

They have called me three times today but my sound was off so didn't answer.  I figure it is because recently I tried to download Solitaire off of Google and it said they have access to my SD.

I called the number back, it's a recording of the real company called Green Tree Service.  It seems a 3rd party is spoofing their number to try to do telemarketing.  I bet these people are trying to pay a scam, just like about lowering credit card interest.  I agree with Annoyed PhoneTray is awesome.  Get a dial-up modem USB off eBay (if your computer doesn't have dial-up modem), and use phone tray to block them on your home phone.

Got called to my cell # which is on the DoNotCall registry. Offering lowered interest rates on my home mortgage. I have no mortgage. I wanted to discover their identity and opted to speak to a live person. How I would love to sue this entity for abusing my privacy. Got a live person who mumbled softly. When I asked "what?? please speak louder" they hung up. With this lively conversation I didn't get far. People: pool your info and perhaps we can catch this scum.

green tree service calls from this tele 803-740-1406  : pressing 2 to stop call certainly doesn't work..we have a house phone and even having call block it still comes thru...just called @9pm..So fed up with these jerks and all the other jerks who get thru

i am getting 3 or 4 calls each day.  how can we get this to stop!
