I didn't answer but caller id says Children's Cancer as I read seems like its just another scam.

got a call to my cell from this number. Woman with hispanic accent from "Home Security Systems." She asked me how I was. I told her I was fine and that it was against federal law to place such calls to cell phones. She apologized. I hung up.

It is a scam. The old "your computer is sending messages and I want to help you fix it". This time from Manitoba.

I just got a call frm the same number, the guy was asking me about home security he could hardly speak English. I told him I was on the no call list and to never call me again.

Caller was a young man spoke English & knew my name!! Lots of back ground noise so was a Call Center. Asked 6 security questions such as Have you changed the battery this year in your smoke detector etc I tried 3x to say Take My number OFF, this is a DoNotCall number but he was real good at cutting me off before I could get the words out. Will be filing the complaint. Also received 6 other marketing calls on this day from other numbers. 209 214 6785, 1 253 383 9031, 877 502 8826, 253 382 9923, & 231 224 2034.

If you understood him when he asked you if you had smoke detectors in your home, then, clearly, he  speaks enough English. I can't stand getting phone calls  from telemarketers and the like, but one thing I hate worse is a person complains that immigrants refuse to learn English then criticizes the ones who do.

I got a call from the number above on my cell.  AN UNWANTED CALL.  Total waste of my limited minutes.  The woman was selling something and I was so irriated I hung up.  Very few people have my cell, so how did she get my number? I am furious that our private spaces are invaded by stupid people making stupid unwanted phone calls abut products we don't want to buy.

I have been receiving calls from this number several times a week. Can we do anything about it?

I too recieved a call not only once but 3 times from these people and they wanted my credit card info told me I won a free years worth of gas. I just had to give them my credit card info over the phone and they would charge me 2.75 one easy payment one time and then free gas for the year. Found it suspicous so i hung up.
called them back and it said it was not a working number.

there is a simple solution - I used to do this in the "old days' before answering machines or caller ID -
purchase a whistle or air horn or anything LOUD and annoying - answer the phone and then let them have it !!  It works - you will have to do it to each phone number that calls - but at least that company will take you off their list

These people keep calling my house and when my young child answered the phone I could hear her give out a lot of personal information. Another child was yelling to the one on the phone "that's a stranger, we don't know them, hang up!", even after these people knew how young of a person they were talking to, they STILL kept talking and asking my child questions. They do not need to know my young child's personal information.

Got a call from this number, immediately hung up.

This number keeps calling and hanging up on both mine and my wife's cell phones. I WANT IT TO STOP!!! When you call the number back it's disconnected. So how does it make calls?

This number calls my phone and then my wife's phone at least three times a week.  I wish they would stop.

Received phone calls numerous times this month from this number.I ignored it because i usually dont like to answer
to numbers I dont know.I finally picked it up on Friday August 17 2012,a guy with accent told me i won a free alarm system for my home.I told him i already had a home system & that i was not interested.I just had a bad feeling that someone was trying to find out if my home was protected so that they could rob my home.Never give personal info
to anyone on phone.

I get a phone call from this number at least 5 times a week. I never answer it because the first time they called I checked on here to see what it was... leave me alone!!!!!

I have been getting these calls almost daily from an area code of 813.....They always ask if I have a fire extinguisher and smoke alarms......Then they continue to tell me it is not a sales call.
Then they ask if I am the homeowner. I say yes, then they ask questions about my homes worth, and i hang up!
 Well today i had some fun with the barely able to speak English guy on the phone. I answered all his questions, and when he got to the part of being the homeowner and the homes worth, I stated the following:
"Well sir, I am not sure of its worth as I got it on sale.  After a long pause......He asks "Well what would you guess?....I then tell him, well I got it at Walmart for $129.99 plus tax and its regular price was $159.00"
After a very long pause, he asks "Well how is that possible? I then tell him well sir, you called my cell phone, and i live in a tent in a campground".......Funny how fast that call was "Disconnected".......I have never laughed so hard......Wonder if he calls back, or some other scammer that somehow got my cell number.

8/16/12 , 8:15 PM - dude called heavy Hispanic accent. Said he was conducting a smoke detector survey . I told him I did not take solicitations over the phone - He was then very rude. I hung up - redilad and the received a message phone number no longer in service.

My sister got a call from this number yesterday, but she was out so I answered it. I decided to act like I don't speak English, i answered "Hola!" there was a pause and then this lady quickly said hello, she sounded younger, instead of breaking my character, I decided to say "Hola" again......She hung up. So today me and My sister called and we had our ears blared out with "This number you have dialed is disconnected, please check the number you've dialed and call again!' followed by a loud beeping noise that paused and repeated two more times. Their juust a trolling company.

I receive a call from this number 2-3 times a day and am sick of it.  I have tried everything to get off their "list" to no avail.  They do not answer right away and when they do I feel in is a caller of Indian descent.  They want to know about my security system...I have one...I do not need another...I have tried to call back the number, but it is "not in service"

I finally just did the AT&T Anonymous Call Rejection (ACR) feature by pressing *77 on my home phone (*87 to undo it).  We'll see if that works or not.

After some basic research, and leads from this page.  It is my estimate that these calls are coming from a call center in the Phillipines and being directed through a tampa Florida call center (that is why the number comes up as Florida instead a company name).  I further believe that they are calling on behalf of ADT.  Therefore I personally would recommend that people contact ADT, report these abuses coming from their outsourced call centers and ask them to please use more reputable companies, preferrably American (for the sake of caller ID registration).  It is my belief that any reputable company will NOT tolerate this behavior and stop it or break contract with the call center.  I seriously doubt the folks at ADT are aware of the abusive behavior.

recieved call from same number asking about smoke detectors claiming to be for a survey.  Told them they dont need to know that twice.  They told me to "get lost", I told them to "F" off.  Will be filing charges with the Mo. secretary of state for No Call list violation and AT&T to get this number blocked permanently.  I recommend everyone do the same.  As for having personal information, well, it's easy to be tough over the phone, let's see if they want to push it.

Make sure you're on the national do not call list. If yes, file a complaint with the fcc. Very easy online form to complete.

These people aren't hispanic, they're indian.
They called me three times in 6 hours! The guy had a heavy indian accent, when I said "excuse me? i dont understand you" he hung up. I like Indian taxi drivers better than Indians from call centers.

Call from this number representing itself as Readers' Digest...wanted to award lower rates for being longtime subscribers....."Supervisor will call you back." Call from "Supervisor" was from 813-201-0456 FL to get BILLING INFORMATION. We declined the "award"  Haven't checked with Readers
' Digest yet.
