This company has called myself and even my neighbor asking her to have me call them.. Thais need  stop ASAP

This company has very rude and hostile individuals, they do not want to send you any backup documentation and will harrass you every day all during the day.  

they called to "verify a reference" for someone we don't know.  I think they just wanted to see if the person who answered was who they had with the phone #.  They hung up in the middle of the call.

Wow! I am so glad I saw this posts.  I've been getting calls from this (813)400-2074 number but I never answered it because I don't answer any number I don't recognize.  I figured if it was that important then they would leave me a message but they never do.  They called me again while I'm at work today on my cell phone and again I didn't answer.  I decided to call them on a lan line here from work and sure enough I got an automated message from this "Global Trust Management Corporation."  I got off the phone and decided to Google this company and ended up on this page.  Thanks for the heads up everyone, now I know.  

I received a call tonight from Global Trust Management but the number was 813-400-2071. Apparently they have many consecutive phone numbers.
The gentleman claimed to have left a message last week but I never got it. He said they were forced to identify all my assets because of a debt they bought. I asked who their client was. He said 5th 3rd bank. Since I know I have no debt with them, I said I would not discuss without written verification of the debt. He then said, "its gone beyond that point now".
I tossed a fit and told him unless he had a judgement against me it would never be too late to dispute a debt and hung up on him.
They cannot be a collection agency and not know about the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.

This is a collections agency in ST Pete / Tampa Florida Global Trust Management Corp.

Send a letter specifying that you want them to stop all calls to you ..... office / cell / home where ever they call you.  They need to put it in writing.  This is a company that buys old debt.  They can continue to bug you till you stop them.  If you tell them to stop and they continue and you file a complaint you may be able to collect some funds from the company as there are laws as to when or if they can call you.  

Find some debt collectors reply letters and fire off a few.

Check your credit report.   They cannot list 3rd party debt on your credit report.

I received a message from these people and they will not answer their phones they want you to leave your information so they can call you. DO NOT DO THIS. Collection Companies has your address, and phone number in which they obtain from whom you owe money/bills. They will right you and not call you. These people get your information from people you write checks to. Companies you write checks to sell your information. They also have people on the out side in which they buy your information off your checks. Every time you call them ...you'll never speak to someone just by them answering their phones. Do not fall for this fraud. I left messages, "You are a fraudulent fake company and you steel consumers money, by steeling their information from others and I dare you call my privite number again".  And that is one way to know for sure that they get your info from others because a privite phone number is not listed and the only person you give it to is your doctors office, or for a business transaction. Put your cell number on your check if you need to give a number.

If you think that a caller may be a fake debt collector:
Ask the caller for his name, company, street address, and telephone number. Tell the caller that you refuse to discuss any debt until you get a written "validation notice." The notice must include the amount of the debt, the name of the creditor you owe,
If a caller refuses to give you all of this information, do not pay! Paying a fake debt collector will not always make them go away. They may make up another debt to try to get more money from you.
Stop speaking with the caller. If you have the caller's address, send a letter demanding that the caller stop contacting you, and keep a copy for your files. By law, real debt collectors must stop calling you if you ask them to in writing.

Do not give this company any money or give them your information. This is a SCAM. Someone named Rico keeps calling my cell, my husbands, and my in-laws phone from this phone number. They are claiming we owe a past debt. what they failed to investigate was we paid that off over a year ago. When my husband told him that he said that they are a financial institution so why would they scam us. This is a load of bull. If ypu get a phone call from global trust management corporation please validate that you owe the debt first. Then file a complaint with the ftc. The more people report them the more likely something will be done about this.

They are calling me about a debt that someone I know owns!  He doesn't live with me, he's not even a close associate of mine!  I told them he can never be reached at my number and to please remove me from their call list.  They would only remove him if I would give them his telephone number!  The guy on the phone got nasty and wan't even provoked!  These ppl are terrible and needs to be reported!

I just received a call from this company as well...stating that there is a claim against me regarding an old credit card account THAT I NEVER owned.  I am reporting them to my state's attorney general's office.  I believe that might be the best course of action.

How can I stop a debt collector from contacting me?
If a collector contacts you about a debt, you may want to talk to them at least once to see if you can resolve the matter ? even if you don?t think you owe the debt, can?t repay it immediately, or think that the collector is contacting you by mistake. If you decide after contacting the debt collector that you don?t want the collector to contact you again, tell the collector ? in writing ? to stop contacting you. Here?s how to do that:
Make a copy of your letter. Send the original by certified mail, and pay for a ?return receipt? so you?ll be able to document what the collector received. Once the collector receives your letter, they may not contact you again, with two exceptions: a collector can contact you to tell you there will be no further contact or to let you know that they or the creditor intend to take a specific action, like filing a lawsuit. Sending such a letter to a debt collector you owe money to does not get rid of the debt, but it should stop the contact. The creditor or the debt collector still can sue you to collect the debt.
This is great information I found out from a company called Consumer Credit Helpers. I went on their website and it looks like they have been helping many people with collection agencies.

They call day in and day out, repeatedly claiming they have  a case with a big scary "case number" for me to call in with.Just one question: why in the world would I do this company or it's reps the favor of returning a phone call about  a debt I never owed? All because of a case number? This company and it's reps should really leave me and the better portion of the population alone before they are sued for unfair debt collection practices. Futhermore, it is also considered to be an unfair collection practice to lie to a "client's" mentally disabled mother and claim to be the "client's" boss. Should be fun in court Global Trust...Would you like  a case number?

on 9/26/12, i called the number 855-875-2705 and a free message 411 sponsor regarding Fios.  I then received on my cell 813-400-2060 and get a message Global Trust Management Corp, i hanged up.  i then get pre-recorded message, no name, broken up call on my cell 855-875-2705.  woman gives me a file number and then tells me that she had been calling with no response.  not going to call them, if anything, shouldn't i have gotten some letter stating i owe, that is, if i do owe.  will not give them the time of day

Oh my god! I am so glad that I saw this! I have been getting calls from Victoria from Global Trust Management  telling me the same things. She gives me a file number and then she told me that she had been calling with no response and even sent a written correspondence, which I have never received. My caller ID also shows the number 813-400-2057 and she tells me to call her back within in 24 hours 855-875-2506 ex. 248. She also said "You have been officially notified". She tells me that I need to care to revolve this or give a response to something... After reading all of these postings, I can tell this is a scam. I am so glad I didn't call back. Also, when I googled them, I found that they are not accredited by the BBB and there were several complaints listed on their site about collections and such. I will definitely be filing a complaint!

GTM keeps calling my cell phone about 2-3 a week and i dont answer any number i dont know so i googled it and found this! Some woman named victoria is calling from 855-875-2506 ex 248 and then asking me to call back regarding a file no. ***** at 813-400-2057 , i have no debt so i know its a scam and i will be making a complaint to the FTC and i hope you all do the same bc bottom line is this company and people are theives and theres no difference in what theyre doing and trying to pickpocket hundreds/thousands of your dollars!

I have received several call to both my work and cell phone and finally changed my cell number. So they constantly call my work and my work phone has caller ID so I know this is not a legit number so I let them leave a message. They left a file number and a different phone number than they called from, they left this number 855-875-2705. When I googled the number they left it comes up not valid so I did the number from caller ID 813-400-2060. I refuse to call them back anymore. I did reach them one time and they would not give me any info except the file number...they wouldn't even give me the company that I supposedly owed money to...they only wanted me to give them my SS# and bank information/bank card # before they started to threaten me. I refused to give them any personal info and the threats began of being arrested at my job and going to jail. Do not talk to these people and file a complaint.

To all of those who post info about this company...First, I believe what I have been reading here about this company because I have been on the recieving end of the harrassing calls. Kept getting calls from this one lady. She would never say her name nor say the name of the company or what she was calling about after being asked repeatedly. Claimed I was yelling at her, so not true. After a call in May, I called and asked to speak to a manager....Two months later a Frank Torres called me claiming to be the office manager for this company Global Trust. Frank Torres claims that everything posted here about Global Trust and a Ms. Lake (if that is her real name) are all lies....people out to discredit Global Trust... DO NOT TALK TO ANYONE FROM GLOBAL TRUST MANAGEMENT

I have been receiving harrassing phone calls from this company for over 6 months.  The claim they are located at 13046 Race Track Rd #105 Tampa, Fl.   They are asking for my checking account information because they claim I owe $438.00 for a pay day loan I know I don't owe.

I have been a collector for over 12 years and have never  been trained to be rude to clients.  I would really like these calls to stop.

I understand where you are all coming from.  And, you are not the only ones who are being harassed.  Unfortunately, the employees are harassed by management of the company themselves.  I should know.  We are provided scripted messages to leave, and were just called into a meeting last Friday where our manager told us that we needed to do whatever it took to get paid.  And, if we couldn't do that, then we needed to quit our jobs.  That is easier said than done in this economy.  We have to eat, put gas in our car, pay rent, etc. somehow until a better job becomes available.  And, believe me, EVERYONE of the ten or so collectors are looking for a better opportunity, with the exception of one employee there that seems to have no couth and enjoys yelling at people on the phone and threatening them.  She also enjoys creating a hostile workplace for other employees at Global Trust.  Unfortunately, when these issues are brought up to management, nothing is done.  The company does not have an HR department.  Every type of harassment violation in the company handbook has been made to our employees; yet, nothing has been done yet.  As for sleeping at night, trust me, it is impossible.  I am embarassed that the company i worked for is associated with so many complaints, and hopefully I will be out of there as well.  I want to offer my sincerest apologies to anyone that has been made to feel violated, taken advantage of, etc.

I'm getting calls from these people as well and am so glad I looked them up.  Again, they're calling harrassing me.  I don't owe any of them money.  How do these people sleep at night?

I am really annoyed with this company calling my phone. Global Trust Management  keeps calling my job and my cell phone saying that I owe money for a bill that has already been paid.

I am starting to get calls from these people, I get a recording asking me if I am Eric and to press a number if I am. I have just hung up on this so far, so glad I found this place to get some answers. I called the number back also and got the recording telling me they were Global Trust Management.

I would like to thank you all for posting your comments, I received a phone call from these people today but I did not answer it b/c it looked suspicious. I called the number back and got a recording saying I had reached Global Trust Management Corp. I am really glad that you guys took the time post your comments and it has given me a heads up, and enabled me to be prepared in how to deal with these people. Thank you all very much, I will post more as this thing unfolds. I hope that I am able to give you guys some more advice.

This phone number belongs to the newest form of scam running rampant throughout the country. They call, and harrass, and tell give you a nonsense claim number that doesn't belong to anything. Simply tell these people that if you are contacted again, you will report them to the FTC and file a claim against them. These people have apprently forgotten that there are laws against what they are doing, and need a nice lawsuit to help them remember. Don't give them any personal information as these people use intimidation to scare the uneducated and the weak.

I have been getting phone calls daily and  others have been harassed from a company called Global Touch They have gotten her number from somewhere when she filed an application for a car. Since then she has received numerous phone calls to her cell phone and her workplace, in fact they called her job on Friday 5 times. There must be someway these people can be stopped. They are also posing as a collection agency and threatening to take her to court but they don't  send any info to validate that she owes anything. They just call her job and home daily. This company has been doing this people for a long time and needs to be stopped, please if you can give me some advise to share with her please help me. I have sent a few websites to help you get a better idea of how they work.
