Just had experience with this individual. I was looking for a house and saw this ad on Craigslist. Something told me this was not legitamate. Glad I followed my gut instinct.

I just responded to an ad on craigslist and the man said his name was Mejia man said he was a doctor and busy with patients said I needed to text him immediately went back to look at the post and guess what it was gone.......

he used the name jason when he corresponded with me. this is in indianapolis IN. they must have someone here in town. the sign that had been in the yard was up on the front porch behind a brick wall.

i messaged a guy on craigs list,I asked to set up a date and time to look at the house, he said I could only see it through the windows. Said he couldn't talk on phone but would check his messages. the rent was 550$ and all utilities are paid. looked the house up on line and its listed for 910$. He said he originally had house listed through a realtor but with drew his appliction and picked up the keys and they are with him.The guy said he couldn't talk on phone in Miami Fl on business, uses the name Harold Cobas and family. wants money western unioned or money gram.
BTW the post on Craigslist has been withdrawn...

DEFINITELY a scam. Got a response from a craigslist property that seemed too good to be true (rent was WAY low). Scammer asked to be txted, said he couldn't talk on the phone. Googled the number and found the actual legit property listing with a much higher list price.
