Just got a phone call from "911" answered it and it was an Indian guy claiming to be a police officer wanting to warn me that he was putting out a warrant for my arrest for the Baker and Mackenzie law firm. When asked why he wouldn't tell me. He told me to call 814-289-8206 and talk to them and see if we can work out some kind of arrangement. He asked me when I would be calling and I told him at the earliest of my Convenience. He then told me not to worry about it then he was just going to issue the warrant and come and pick me up. I told him I would be waiting for him in my Orange jumpsuit. That was at 3:00 and its now 4:37 and I'm still
Sitting in the same spot. These people are idiots if they think I will fall for their little scam. I think I know a little more about the "law" then they think I do.

Today i called tge 814 no on my cell.american payday loan some "daniel rich .he had a very thick indian accent .i cursed at him anf telling him i know its a scam and i have reported him to the icr snd the fbi .he said hr did not care.they have called me a few times before.sorry that happened these peopke are evil!!

We too have been getting these calls from this number saying I had to either send $645 via moneygram, green dot money pack, or go to my local Bank of America & call them at which point they would give me the account #. Knowing this was a scam as we had no payday loans I went to B of A who didn't seem to Carr much that a customer of theirs was fraudulently having money deposited into there account! I then went to my local police & filled a report, the officer called pretending to be my husband to get info & to F*cK with them a little. We all got a good laugh listening to them tell the police officer that they've already spoken with our "local pd" & that they would be coming to arrest us! The officer did get the address they said they were calling from which he called into Somerset Pa police dept where the number is located & find out there is no law firm with the name they gave, & the street address is actually in a trailer park. Please people if you get these calls report it to your local pd, FBI, & FTC. DO NOT BELIEVE THEIR THREATS! Any outstanding debt you have you will be notified by mail. The US fair credit act states you have to be notified by mail! DO NOT GIVE THEM A PENNY!!!

Just got a call from Daniel Rich at work and then I told him to call me on my cell.  He did and said there was a warrant for my arrest for a payday loan but if I paid $452 now it would not happen.  First he said a warrant was being filed in courts in Boston and then he said they were 45 minutes from my job to arrest me.  I told him my attorney would be calling him back.  Argued with me and couldn't tell me the name of the payday loan co. just that is was Cash Advance and they had multiple companies but he didn't know which one.  They had previously left a message on my cell for me to contact Adam Jones.  Glad I read these posts.  These are scammers!!

I have received numerous calls from this number as well as a 814-281-2011 and both times the names have changed first it was an Adam Jones and then an Alex Washington.  Be aware these people are scammers and do not give them any info.

Just got another call from these scammers...ANITA BROWN, yeah ok!!! I have reported over and over the countless numbers that these people call from. It's getting way out of hand.

Have received several calls from this number and each time they leave a threatening message.  I have called the local police and county police and told them about this.  They are aware of these types of scams and have told me that it is not legitimate and to be wary. They told me to not answer when I see this number and to not call anyone back from a message left by this number.

Samuel Jones and Daniel Rich called my job and cell phone saying I owed a payday loan.  But could not tell me who it was from.  Told me that I would be arrested on my job if I did not pay them today.  Told me to go to Walmart and put it on a green dot card.

A man by the name of Daniel Rich also called my work. When I called him back, he was saying I owed money and they were going to arrest me. I was scared so I called and made sure I had not forgotten any of my payments. The actual company said I was fine and they had several complaints about this from customers. I called my girlfriend and she called them back and let them have it! Damn scammers go make money legally....get a JOB.

I got SCAMMED by these people , a man named Daniel Rich called me stating i owe 400 for a pay day n if i dont pay there will be a warrent out for my arrest, i sound dumb saying this but i got nervous i thought it was legit , they threatened to come to my work by strick rules of the court house. They told me i need to go to a wallgreen or cvs to get a card to put it on, and i fell for it ! I got scammed amd thats the last time that will ever happen!!!!!!

I just got a call from a David William w/ Baker & Mackenzie stating there's a lawsuit against me.  I refused to agree if the information (social, etc.) he had on me was accurate or not, then I hung up on him.  I told him if it was important to mail me a letter.  What scammers!!!

This number keeps harassing me! Calls several times a day. Says it's an urgent legal matter and if I do not respond, may God help me.

Sorry to hear you got scammed.. Please nexxt time you get a call like this please try to check it out. I know it can be scarey to hear them with their threats. Just remember they prey on FEAR and that is how they got you to pay. We need to be proactive and try to prevent anyone else from getting scammed out of even a penny. They are ruthless if you show fear.. take a breath and fight back. Ask questions. Even if it is a legit agency/collector. The legit ones will give you the correct answers and will not prey on you.

My husband and I were scammed by this number. First a Daniel King called and said that we owed a payday loan for $420 but if we pay $300 on a greendot card and called the information back into him that would take care of it and we wouldn't need to go to court. Did that and then received a call back saying that their lawyer was rejecting the payment because we owed more loans. I asked for the companies we owed and they said it was to late and now we owe $4500. I said we don't have  that kind of money and he said that he would have his head lawyer Robert James call me to discuss this. He then called me and I again asked what companies that we owe. He argued with me for over ten minutes and than said that we have no intention of paying for this and he was going to have my husband arrested. I then received a call on my cell phone with the caller id showing 911. I thought it was legit and got really scared. The so called police office named Deputy Sinclair said that I needed to call the lawyer back and pay it because he was 10 blocks away and was tracing my call. I then talked to the lawyer and since I was stupid and believed the deputy my husband payed what the lawyer told us to pay. That was on a Friday and then on the following Tuesday. agained I got a call from the 911 officer asking where my husband was and where I was. He told me again I needed to call the lawyer. Then Daniel King called me and said that we owed an additional $3000 or if it goes to court it would cost us over $27000. I told him to talk to my husband. My daughter than called our local police department and they said that no law inforcement could arrest you for not paying a payday loan. Then the calls kept coming. Even one time my cell caller id said it was my husband was calling and when I answered it the person on the line said it was the deputy. I then started telling them that I was already reporting them to the FBI, FTC, and the Attorney Generals Office. I haven't got a call yet since I told them that yesterday. Please listen to me and don't be as stupid as I was. They will try anything including scarring you so they get your money. I am not out of my husbands money that we were trying to save up so that we could take our kids on a vacation this summer.

I keep getting calls asking to call back, when I called back they said that I had a loan out that I didn't pay. I didn't receive a loan that I have not paid and I explained this to the guy, and then he called me frogilant, so I asked to speak, with his supervisor and he said you can speak to the supervisor when I am arrested for not paying what I owe them. I have no idea what this is about and would like for the call to stop.
