I got the same call, same card#...sooooo.. I replied with just 16 random numbers, a false verification number, false expiration date and then a false pin. Funny thing, it all went through.. LOL...

Got the exact same text as "FW" reported along with exact card #. Haven't done any business with OMNI AMERICAN in years and account is closed. Also received suspicious voice message from "Unknown" at 1057 pm the night before stating same/similar information.

Joe from called me. He mentioned something about a survey and job opportunities, then we got disconnected and he did not call back. Very strange call as I do not give out my cell number.

Received text message: OMNIAMERICAN BANK ALERT: Your CARD #453263 has been temporarily DEACTIVATED. Please call (817) 201-9367 to reactivate.
I knew immediately this was a phishing attempt because although I have an account at Omni American, I don't have a "card" from them.
Went to the Omni American Bank website and saw this message:

If you receive a text message requesting you to call and confirm your debit card number please DELETE it and do not contact the sender.
Customers have reported receiving texts claiming to be from OmniAmerican Bank encouraging them to contact a fraudulent phone number and enter card data. I received a text msg from this number saying my omniamerica account has been deactivated.I have no such account. It gave an 800 number to call to reactivate the account.

Got a TEXT (???) saying that it was Omni American Bank & that my account has been suspended. Has to be a scam; I don't have an account with them.

It's a spammer. I got a text message from this number saying my OmniAmerican bank card had been deactivated. I don't bank with OmniAmerican (not even sure it's a real bank). Anyway, I reported it to AT&T as spam.
