Steven called claiming to be with GE security. I let him talk long enough to discover that he was "giving away" a wireless home security system.

I asked if this was General Electric and he said yes. I asked why a company like GE would violate the "do not call" list? He just offered to take my number off of his list. 100% scam.

Called today, ignored it thanks to this site.

Won't let you call back, all it says is "All circuits are busy ,call again later"

My minions are performing their duties as expected.

I think this is a great idea. I purchases a call blocker from ANAZON call PLUG & BLOCK by SENTRY. It works very good although you have to get one call from each one that you wish to block, Love it! Wish someone would come up with a device that you could accept the call, then push a button that would destroy their bobo caller, I would give a 1000.00 dollars for one.

4/17/14:  Same dick bag named "Steven" just called, hung up as I asked him to stop calling.  Never got to his pitch, phone number won't ring when I try to call and tell him we got disconnected.

Received a similar call from "Steven" who iidentified his company as GE Vista Security and quickly read his scripted pitch about current security systems being tied to old phone lines that are continually being cut and dug up. I tried three times to interrupt the script to finally ask if he knew what state I lived in. He said 'no'. I told him that he would know if he had looked up my number on the national DNC list. I was surprised that he apologized before quickly hanging up on me.

What if we all got together and raised money for a reward leading to the arrest and conviction of person or persons who violate the do not call list intentionally.  What would happen if an employee could pocket say $100,000 by finking out his boss.  Thiink it might work?  What does the offended public think?

The number called & it went to answering machine.  Message left sounded like someone said Uhhh.

I'm so sick of UPMC calling from so many locations.  Yesterday hey called from NY, PA and today from Texas.  Shouldn't this be illegal????????????  I DON'T WANT THEIR INSURANCE!!!!!!

No message just a call and a hang up.  

Call came in at 7:36 PM, caller ID showed "Incoming Call", so I ignored it. I later went to check my online call logs which said the number had called three times, all at 7:36 PM. Phone only rang once.

Same thing. Guy said he was Steven. I asked what company he worked for, he hung up.

3/10/14  got a cal at 7PM CDT. frm this number. when answering machine picked up.. they hung up. obvious scammer/telemarketing

Got call, no message left.  Just another number to ignore.

Caller "Steve" from Home Protection said we should take his service before someone comes in our house with a gun. Very threatening. Report this call to 877-FTC- HELP!!!

Yet another home security system scam.  Steven says he's calling from a security company called Vista and will be in my neighborhood soon.  Why would you buy a security system from a company that violates state and federal Do not call laws??
Hope Steven finds more honest employment.

Phone call again at supper time. Didn't recognize the phone #. They left no message. Caller I.D. said call from Grapevine,Tx.

Caller ID shows "Grapevine, Tx."
Called it back, got a message "Thank you for calling home protection. If you want to be placed on our do not call list, press one now."

A male voice said 'this is Steven, hello'

Didn't recognize number - let it go to answering machine; no message left.  Looks like another scammer has arisen.

Same as all the messages above. Can be blocked on the iPhone 5.
